It is very easy now to be come despondent and cynical about the social culture of Canada right now, but these idiots comprise probably less than a tenth of one percent. However they are very vocal and the media and some politicians and popular figures have given them a profile completely out of proportion to their numbers and purported popularity. The politicians have been divided and hesitant in their responses as have been the police, and that has compounded the problem. The net message the protesters have taken out of this is that whenever they do not get what they want, even if illegal and outrageous, they can repeat these behaviours and escalate if they choose to with little or no consequence. Bullies rarely respond to negotiation- they see that as an admission of weakness and renew their demands.

I wish that ball did NOT hit the uprights as it almost certainly was going to be intercepted. I hate that people think it was an act of god. Our DB had undercut that route, Even if he gets it under the bar, we still knock it down and over the bar is for sure an interception. He telegraphed that throw imo. Not to mention it was the exact same route as the previous play, The only thing hitting the bar did was take away the remote chance that they might get a pass interference call. Everyone figured out that reverse pivot in late 2019 and his play has been average ever since.

Who in their ******* right mind targets high school & elementary students?? I swear to God these idiots need to be dealt with. This enraged Karen who spat on that student needs to be charged with assault. And her employer needs to see what kind of ugly person they have in their employ. Some serious jail time & a heavy fine would do her good. You know she'd be wailing in the court room crying for mercy saying she was sorry.

Ottawa residents respond to anti-vax truckers with a song about gay cowboys Anti-vaccine truckers from the "Freedom Convoy" in Ottawa, Canada on February 12, 2022, Wikimedia Commons In Ottawa, Canada’s capital city, a convoy of anti-vax truckers have been protesting against the Canadian government’s COVID-19 vaccine requirement for truckers reentering Canada from the United States — and many Ottawa residents have grown impatient with the traffic jams and gridlock they have created. Some of those Ottawa residents, according to LGBTQ Nation’s Bil Browning, have responded by “using an explicit heavy metal song about gay cowboys having sex to overpower the group’s communications and broadcast it to anyone listening.” The song is “Ram Ranch,” a 2012 recording by Canadian rocker Grant MacDonald. “Ram Ranch,” Browning reports, “is being blasted over several Zellow channels dedicated to the convoy.”

Lefors barely got to play before he ****** his shoulder... after the injury his poor play wasn't really an indication of his ability. Even the poor play before the injury is hard to necessarily pin on him given the coach tried to install an early 90s offensive system.

New study "Men are more likely than women to harm themselves and others with firearms. Central to this problem is men’s interest in owning firearms. The precarious manhood paradigm (PMP; Vandello et al., 2008) suggests that masculinity is tenuous and must be outwardly displayed. .Results suggest men’s desire to own firearms maybe connected to masculine insecurities. Efforts should be made to socially defuse the masculinity-firearm connection. Further research implications and limitations are discussed. and the previous 2 passes before that were almost picked as well. Taylor was in perfect position, and a high ball which the Faj generally throws anyway had safety support over top too....it was a pick, or a pass knockdown anyway you slice it, but the Greenies can cling to their beliefs they were a play away from the Cup...and even that isn't true....they were a play away of possibly tying it if they could make the convert

He is awful based on what? His time last season with a terrible team where he played a whopping one game? Or is his brief gametime in 2019 where he had a 97.1 QB rating ? What deep analysis did you do evaluating his 3rd down and 1 sneaks which made you come to the conclusion that he's terrible.
  45. 2 points
At this point Faj is more locked into his limitations, Prukop could grow into more. Though I'd say his upside is limited, but I think his ability to fulfill his potential here is much higher because of the OL and team around him that booch referred to. He's much better than hall/brink based on a similar ability to throw but a whole lot more athleticism. I am hoping for a big rookie to come in and be the future guy. Or a return of strevy.
  46. 2 points
I'm not sure what the problem is... Prukop is not an overwhelmingly exciting QB prospect... but he has CFL experience and fits under the cap... that's about as good as we could've hoped for. Let be honest... no matter who the back up is... if we lose Collaros for an extended period of time... it's going to be much tougher to compete.
  47. 2 points
Maybe working with Collaros and Pierce can be beneficial for him.
  48. Yeah just strikes me as odd that ott went with powell and not harris. Tor is just desperate. I do like the jagared davis pick up but not much else. My way too early draft grades would be, OTT A+. They did as best as they could. Wpg A. Resigned the key FAs, enough to be favorites again. Stamps B+. Really like the judge pick up, Had some loses but were a young team moving forward. Mtl B. Really limited their loses, locked up young guys, and only team to go out and get cheap vet qb depth. Other wise secondary and mennard hits are hard. BC C-. Not crazy about their qbing, but finally filled some dl gaps and kept lucky. got a little spend crazy in the secondary. Ham C-. They seemed as flat in the FA period as they did in the 19 grey cup. Seems like they just lost guys and didnt add. Ssk C-. Addition by subtraction with a couple loses. Duke was a big over pay but they had to, moncrief was a good get. Maybe they should be higher. Tor D+, Swung for the fences a lot, but only got 1 gooder in davis. They have 2 really good imp rbs and couldnt manage to run well or consistently and they dont have the NI back up to start him. Banks is toast. Edm wtF- Sigh, return of duron carter and jones as a hc/gm. Wouldve won free agency in 2012.
