  1. I’d much rather watch our DBs burn Duke over and over and over then watch him catch 50/50 balls in blue and gold. I’ll take a pass on that dbag.

They got all upset about Papa Trudeau telling them what to do about oil, even though they benefitted from the billions the Feds have pumped into the oil sector. They don't want the Feds in their business. But, at the same time, they're upset with JT because he won't force other jurisdictions to build a pipeline. They somehow want the Feds to tell everyone else what to do. They talk out of both sides of their asses. They're arguments breakdown as soon as you examine them.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots announced that they have signed OL Drew Desjarlais to a future contract. Desjarlais, 24, was drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League in the first round (4th overall) in the 2019 draft out of Windsor. The 6-foot-2, 313-pounder, played in all 18 games with 10 starts during his first season. After the 2020 season was canceled, Desjarlais played in all 14 games during a shortened 2021 season and earned a West Division All-Star selection after helping the Blue Bombers win the Grey Cup.

Would reiterate that this is worth the read, even if you feel it is a long. One thing that crept up in my mind was a tweet someone wrote when Novak Djokovic was being kicked out of Australia and his parents and supporters were crying about oppression, and it applies here too: ”When you have lived a life of privilege, it can be easy to mistake inconvenience with oppression”.

The ironic thing is that the Alberta government is actually killing people with its policies and not a whisper from the Neanderthals. But they have to protest a policy that is actually saving lives. Go figure.

Fair point about the federal liberal party being pro business, but they also put out the CERB, which was a totally socialist thing to do. If it's not Conservative, it's bad. She's one of those people who believe that as along as you work hard, you will succeed. Ignoring the fact that there are people out there who have suffered trauma and have large barriers to success due to the way our society is setup. Some people out there who are the hardest workers, will never be able to achieve success due to their circumstances (ie. race, background, connections).

^^ The biggest thing I'm getting from today's nonsense in Ottawa is that Ontario is finally starting to understand what it's like in Alberta every Goddamned day.... In my small rural AB town, there are confederate flags in trucks every day, and hanging from apartment windows. There are F*** Trudeau stickers on the back window of so many vehicles....dozens and dozens. This isn't something that just popped up over night.... it's been brewing ever since their hero Uncle Steve got tossed in 2015....

Duke last year looked like he came to Canada out of shape and heavy If he returns this year..in shape...head on right he could be a good asset in right lockeroom.. He always been a bit of a ****..but last yr he came into a room with a group of me first assbags (hello purifiy..marshall..Edam and Gainey) and HC who had no control of his team...and almost seemed like they didn't respect him...and he fell right in line with acting like the rest.. Pretty sure in FIFO lockeroom he would be kept in check...now.does that lockeroom want him...that's the question...but if we were to lose Lawler...and say Adams comes back on a friendly deal...or we move on...i'd take a one yr flyer...if he doesn't fit in...or is heads and shoulders above whatever other competition is in camp...u send him packing..or flip him somewhere for draft pick..or neg list guy Darkhorse this yr may be that Jackson tho....heard good things...and also coukd be the emerg 3rd string QB

Ricky Collins, the Don Unamba of receivers, he's been solid everywhere he's gone and he's as tough as Bailey inside. He may not be #1 replacement caliber at 29, but he can still get the job done as a secondary receiver. Probably fairly inexpensive too.

Why would you put Walker in the top 5? Even Bray? But no Whitehead? Top 5 in no particular order for me, begeleton, whitehead, Lawler, Lewis and Burnham.

As a rider fan that for sure soured me to Duke Williams. I was willing to give him the pass for the Lemon incident as it seemed like Lemon just lost his cool and came up with an excuse, especailly that there was no evidence to back it up. But when something dirty happens the next week that starts to be a trend. I do think Duke is the best receiver in the CFL though. He can change the game. If he leaves the Riders I hope he goes to Ottawa for a ridiculous amount of money and we don't have to worry about playing him in meaningful games.

If you ask the **** trudeau people which policy of his they dont like....... they can't think of one. Albertans Trudeau hate is for what? building the pipeline they want with everyone's money? lobbying Biden not to cancel Keystone pipeline? legalize marijuana? what more could the guy do that they want? I suppose could have legalized speed, probably would be popular in Alberta. poor hard done by Alberta. boo hoo. could easily have been avoided, but it will be a hillbilly ghost Province within the lifetime of lots of people posting here.

Factor in the Ricky Ray trade and the Eskimos should just stop making trades period.

yes, maybe it's this justin investment they dont like "Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced on Friday $1.7 billion to clean up orphaned and abandoned oil and gas wells in Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia, which he estimates will help create 5,200 jobs in Alberta alone." cleaning up oily mess, left by their heros oilco, and alberta conservative gov. inc. while creating jobs in alberta. no wonder they hate him. askmher to name a justin policy that isnt pro business? the federal liberal party is, always was, completely pro business. hating is what they do. logic does not go with that. see: trump.

I for sure wanted duke. Thing is, he looks like he's lost more than a step, and was a real bag of dicks with the riders. Maybe he's a guy who would fall in line with fifo. Could be one of those agitators you love to have and hate to play against. But at his reduced speed and questionable health he's a high risk high reward player. I wouldnt want to pay him elite money at this point. If duke williams is comparable money to walker, and he'd fit the locker room then sure. If he's significantly more money than the guys in the walker tier Id pass even if he is a locker room fit. And I dont think he'd be a locker room fit.

  49. 1 point
we can keep all 3 if we choose to...especially if we let Augustine walk, as Harris will be making significantly less, if he continues, and if he doesnt, then his 185k from last year easily re-ups Bailey and Lawler, and I assume Woli will be back on a similar deal as last year, with maybe slight bump...he as well is on his 3rd deal already. Lawler...he will be up there, Lucky was highly over payed, and Burnham and Beggleton deals prove it especially as they are pure legit receivers, Lucky is still kind of a returner/turning into a receiver, so the deal he got was a bit of a good for him...but hmmmmm.... I see...165ish for kenny...maybe incentive for more if leads league again...and if he does, well then 2023 $$'s will be top of the tier. That being said, he keeps delaying and looks to try and exhaust all options until summer, then I see us going in different direction, and if he comes available...see what the numbers are and if it works....Walter's knows he can't be waiting all winter/spring or we will be shittoutta luck for any top number1 type guy
