I don't know if the team will go undefeated on the field but nobody can touch them on Twitter.
  3. He's easily worth $425k, Sask needs to lock this guy up...

Biggie in at $160,000 ? Crazy if true

    Little blurb from Collaros.

  8. Yeah, as far as I'm concerned, the only game Collaros has lost as a Bomber is the game in Toronto...
  9. -30C out -@$!#ing trash weather -Had to get up early and work late - Collaros re-signed Overall, pretty good day

I'm thinking some guys are only signing 1 year deals due to the CBA expiring this spring. Maybe there are some handshake deals with Walters to extend their contracts for 2023 if the SMS goes up.

550 is still a spicy meatball within the confines of our cap, but what can you do... Can't say he didn't earn it.
  12. I love the culture the Riders have built.

And to think I was lamenting giving up a 1st round pick for Zach🤣. Maybe the best trade Walters has made to date.

More grey cup wins than losses for this team... yeah pay the man.
  16. I swear they put something in the water over there that kills brain cells. Its the only explanation. So its asinine to pay the reigning MVP QB who has won back to back championships and comprised a 17-2 record $38K more than a bible salesman turned QB who has the same amount of Grey Cup championships as me?!?! Its truly hard to wrap your head around how brain dead Rider fans are.
  17. Don't get too discouraged. I'd say the number of teams lined up to offer Collaros $550k, was much lower than the number of teams lining up to pay Duke $200k. I'm glad the Bombers got their starting QB back, but paying Collaros $550k in hard money (rumoured?) is asinine... Lol. Last edited by #1Fan; Today, 09:26 AM. Now isn't that just the funniest drivel coming from out West....That's the uneducated logic out there for sure...I guess 512k for loser Fajardo who will never get a team to the Cup isn't assinine???....the injury excuse there as well they bemoan is laughable....injured sub par players wouldn't have made a difference there...and yes..we had a whack of injuries too, but it wasn't noticed....Hi depth...how ya doing?? lol

Sad to hear, but nice to see that a piece of him lives on here.💕

Thank you. We were very different personality-wise but we shared a love for the Bombers. I know he'd get a kick out of me using since I used to bug him about how terrible of a drawing I thought it was.

Gotta love Biggie. We are ridiculously lucky to have him.

Both QBs locked up on the same day? Walters'is just toying with us.

The tree peat is real with these guys Biggie and Zach same day

the key is The Trinity. As long as we have them, we're in a good place...

Man we are sooo lucky to not just have a great qb and team but a great person and group of people. No matter how this dynasty or the careers powering them ends this is an all time great group of football people. And we are very lucky to have them.

His deal is $160K plus incentives so maybe he stands to make much more if he has another season like this past one. I know Walters doesn't like using bonuses due to the uncertainty but maybe this was the only way to get it done and still have room for other guys.
  26. My condolences. May happy memories of him comfort you.

We will be ok signing back who we want/need most ..you have to remember save for Stove abc Sheed the remaining guys are not getting bumps to entry deal contracts...that's huge. And Willie didn't break the bank ..Biggie and Jeffcoat are utter steals and Zack being under 600k Is a big win. We weren't at ceiling capwise last year and pieces all fit ..so spend closer to that ceiling this yr to accommodate the bumps...and it appears based on a few deals already that guys are wanting to stick around here for what they think is fair..good for them...good for the team...and helps enable others to stay here..true team mentality and brotherhood going on here...u can tell they wanna run at 3peat with this group

Kyle was on CJOB, said Bighill and Collaros have the same agent. I’m not surprised both got signed same day.

I've very sorry to hear that. I always enjoyed his posts. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

He is coming back. No doubt from me. He said during an interview that he just wanted to enjoy everything happening around him and reflect on how he got to that point last season.

I don't know how many saw or picked up on this, but at the conclusion of the Grey Cup game, cameras running... while many were celebrating all over the field, there was AH33 sitting alone on the "W" logo on the playing field, just deep in thought. I always wondered what he was thinking that very time or moment...
  38. Every time I hear the words CFL and "agent" I can't stop thinking of this guy: LOL - very similar day here in Kelowna (except for the -30C part). This signing was what I needed!

Been doing that since about 5 minutes after I heard the news....boy the CR is tasting good tonight! Can't wait for May! Bob has become a real worry wart in retirement...lol...
  40. 3 points
But I though they all said he would command 700k?

If they have the same agent, then maybe we got Collaros for an equally ridiculously low amount. That 160K for Bighill is honestly about 65K below what he could have commanded. Awaiting the cries of “money under the table to cheat the salary cap” from other teams.
