With all that's going on in the world, Bomber fans have had 2 years with the feeling of being Grey Cup champs. And that's pretty swell. Merry Christmas and happy new year. Bring on the 3peat

I remember sitting there in the 4th quarter when we were down by 12 & being unbelievably calm. I remember thinking we can come back but it's going to be hard. I remember thinking if we lose the game I'm still extremely proud of the Boys in Blue & Gold. They didn't disappoint as they found a way to win. It was like this was Destiny's Team. That it was supposed to happen that way. That win was so satisfying. That last play for the interception was one for the ages & may have been the greatest play in Bomber history. It may have been? Let me correct myself. It was the greatest play in Bomber history!!

Nichols made 2 huge plays in back to back drives. What a find.

2021 wasn’t better than 2019 … but 2021 made 2019 better. First cup in 29 years was a huge relief … but it was also just one cup in 29 years … now we have two in a row. Our players were amazing in 2019 .. but there are Grey Cup winners every year … now they’re a once in a decade team. “Finally” was turned into memorable greatness.

The James Webb telescope is in space and beginning it's journey, solo, to deep space. A couple of weeks of maneuvers still ahead. I can't wait to start seeing some images from this telescope. Hubble has brought us so much insight and the Webb will bring us so, so much more.

Defensive backs are taught to knock the ball away with the opposite hand. That way, if the catch is made they have a better chance to make the tackle or slow down the receiver until help arrives.

122,000 positive tests in the UK yesterday 22,000 in Germany Pretending any country can isolate let alone a city is ridiculous. You can't keep all " travelers " out because those travelers among other things bring you food, clothing, medicine......all the essentials of life. One of the reasons this pandemic will be around for years is because we humans have made imaginary borders that the virus ignores. There are impoverished countries that have %5 vaccination rates. When Omicron is done with us there will be another variant coming along. There are things that would help. 1- countries need to send about to expire vaccines to countries in need. It's millions of doses being thrown out. 2- The patents need to be removed from Covid vaccines. 3- A war needs to be declared against Covid. Put the multi country joint effort into killing Covid that we put into killing people. Quit viewing this as Canada, USA, UK, or whatever country you live in fighting against Covid. I'm sure there are other efforts that would help but those 3 are my suggestion.

A helpful tip I learned as a first responder in rural areas: If you are about to hit a deer, or other wildlife while you are driving, do NOT EVER try to miss it. The natural reflexive movement is to crank the steering wheel over and then you are heading into the ditch at high speed with your front wheels turned sharply to the right. As your front wheels dig into the ditch, your momentum will cause the vehicle to barrel-roll or, worse yet do an endo. Your survival chances are much, much better if you hit the unfortunate creature dead center. If you have no option but to go into the ditch, point your front wheels straight ahead. And remember, ANYTHING, ANYTHING is preferable to a head-on collision. Saved my bacon a couple of times.

Ah, memories are made of this. I almost bought that Cordoba that Ricardo Montalban was pitching for Chrysler in that commercial. It was a very nice car. Much more stylish than it's predecessor. However, I bought a Mercury Cougar XR7 just like this one. Same colour & wheels as the one pictured above. I dithered for an entire weekend trying to decide keeping 2 salesmen wondering WTH I was doing. It was my first new car so it was a big decision. My first new job after graduating university. I was never in debt before so the decision for me at age 25 was rather scary. My dad kept telling me I was crazy to buy brand new & that I should look at saving my money & buy a used car but I wanted a new car. Little did I realize the house, wife & kids were still to come. It was a great car & I never regretted my decision.

Definitely the safer thing to do. Any passenger vehicle should be able to stop in less distance than a semi, so the chance of hitting them from behind isn't too high. Unfortunately choosing to follow a semi when going on #6 rather than pass can add quite a lot of time to your trip since it can be several hours before you get to the destination. Safe is better than sorry, but this is also creates a danger when another vehicle comes from behind you and needs to pass you and the semi. Still agree that its better to remain patient, but it is really hard to do sometimes.

people just need to accept and realize...that this Bomber team was just flat out good...they kinda sucked the pooch in the 2 playoff games (well sucked for them) and still walked off with all the hardware...and really....should have had rookie of the yr as well...expect more of same next yr
