I think Younger is our long range DC candidate. Doesn't mean he can't/won't leave, but I would bet that is their ideal plan.

I think younger is our highest priority ast to retain. If He's patient he will be our DC one day. He might be able to get a DC job this year but with Jones claybrooks and possibly Glen Young kicking around idk if he will be a prime target for other teams. It sure would be great if Jones didn't get a hc gig for 2022 in the cfl. That guys toxic af. I bet he will end up in the xfl and of usfl. Really glad coach o is staying with the Cats. That's great for the league. I expect to lose goveia to another team this year. And imo he's the single most deserving guy who isn't a gm right now.

Very true Booch. Unfortunately the one area no team can really boast about depth is at QB. What would have happened if Zach had gone down in week 4 for an extended period of time? Would we still have kept rolling? I don't know. I just hope that the Mafia look at ways for us to get better depth at that position in the off season.

I'll never get tired of watching that OT, so when I watch it again today I'll look for Woli. It was funny watching Adeleke throwing his hands up going "WTF" as Bailey was basically uncovered. You could also hear all the air get sucked out of that stadium on that catch, as the fans just all collectively went "Oh no, we not only need to score, we need to get two points after we score, on one of the best defenses in the past 50 years in the CFL, maybe ever". The look on Needy B's face said it all, they knew they were done.

He for sure would have taken it even if it was a worse tire fire. Very few new head coaches get to be handed a winning combination from the get go and those that do seldom are able to keep it. He knew what he was getting into and needed to prove himself. We should respect him for that.

Not sure why league can't work a partial guarantee into contracts...reduce the signing bonus in lieu of more salary..and if u dump a guy prior to contract completion...player gets a percentage of his signed deal... Kind of inline with what the signing bonus would/ could have been if done the old way. I am sure that players would agree to smaller signing bonus if it allowed for a bigger actually salary...with the agreement that If they cut/releaed prior to contract expiration they will recieve a singing bonus type compensation. Would make teams less Apt to sign rental type one yr fix type guys...allow for true team building and consistency...and also if I guy is dumped likely be more able to catch on somewhere else without throwing that teams sms into the crapper cause that player could conceivably sign for less as he doesn't have to make up for what he may have budgeted making that yr as he was let go with compensation With this as well I'm talking in a player's second deal...not rookie entry deals as technically u don't want to hamstring a team with compensation for new players who don't pan out...veterans...
