The coach’s chose to engineer tolerance into their system of performance. Now they know the result and what to work on, a prudent strategy when there is very little at stake. They could easily afford the experiment, with next to no risk. In hindsight, I like the strategy.

Strevy getting some actual game action in Arizona this afternoon. With Kyler Murray out again, he dressed as the back-up. McCoy got hurt in the 3rd so it's been the Strevy show from then on.

Scape goat has to go to McGuire playing behind a very makeshift o'line and questionable play-calling. HH goes to Darvin Adams. Horrible play when he gets hit by the ball, clearly he didn't think he was the intended receiver on that play. The guy does all kinds of blocking, and I was glad for him to get a TD pass.

I'm an Adams fan, he's been good for a long time for us, but he's got to got to make that catch. Hate seeing a veteran crap up a raw teammate's first shot like that.

There were a lot of things going on that made McGuire look worse than he might in a game that would have some meaning. The play calling and game plan would have been way different if this game was a WSF and McGuire was playing. Cooper worked his way out of town with his performance on specials that cost at least an 8 point swing and tons of field position. Just having even McKnight in there who at least secures the ball would have made a big difference in the field position battle. Then the play calling can be more controlled and McGuire is not made to force things. Even though he avoided sacks McGuire was hurried lots and often throwing off his back foot into eight man coverages many times. So I wouldn’t give up on him yet.

Hardrick played about a series or two and was out. We then lost the starting LT so we're down to a 3rd string. Again, Guards out on the island playing Tackle. It was a dog's breakfast. That's just ONE of the things working against him. The soaking wet ball didn't help at all. The running game never got going, so that makes them one dimensional. Listen, I'm not going to say that McGuire is a misunderstood all star out there today, but I think people are WILDLY over reacting.....

Hardly stellar run blocking TBH. In fact you could argue Bombers inability to run the ball contributed mightily to the loss on a bad weather day. Oliveira 7 carries for 27 yds = 3.9yds average. And Augustine 5 carries for 15 yds = 3 yds average McGuire on the QB draw was our best rusher 2 for 26 yards or 13 yds average. He ran for first downs both times on those. Saw daylight and went for it - head first, no sliding. None of that Matt Nichols diving for the turf 4 yards short of the first down.

I saw it couple nights ago. First I want to thank you for the first post. Definitely up there for post of the year on this board. Now as for the film...I really was ho-hum on it. The villain was meh and I like Rami. I kept thinking this was just a better version of Quantum and you can't make that a good film. Bond franchise has always been weird. Decades go by, actors replaced but they are essentially still playing the same characters from 1962. Now the Craig franchise was basically a reboot of everything with the exception of Judy Dench. He got his license to kill at the beginning of Casino and died at the end of this. The start and the end of Bond....and Felix....and Blofeld. I love Craig as Bond but if you're rebooting the whole thing perhaps they should not have hired a mid-late 30s actor. Maybe it would not have mattered anyway, they all get tired of it after so many. It's been brought up and worth mentioning again perhaps they should have just left Bond in the 60s.

I meant a half with the starters. We had half the starters vs mtl. Though I'm not really worried about the starters on defense. So if willy sits and Jeffcoat starts I don't think that's a problem.

He's still young and the play calling stank. But right now he looks like a no3 not a no2. Wish we had a good vet qb2 but at this point I Don't see any thing changing.

I've seen the narrative "We have no chance with McGuire / We'll never win a game with McGuire" in this thread, and I just wanna say I don't buy that. McGuire with a full complement of 1s and a proper game plan for it can get us a win....I really believe that.

I'm not sure why anyone's surprised or upset. All we needed to do was get out of the game without any injuries to starters and we did that. McGuire looked like a QB getting his first start. Bad decisions. Bad throws. One set of downs where he looked like he knew what he was doing. The rest of the time he rookie'd it. Next week he should look better. Cooper played himself off the team IMO. That performance was as bad as any rookie performance and Shaq's no rookie. I'd like to see Collaros get enough reps next week to get comfortable, then pull him so he can't get hurt. Today's game showed once again that Collaros is the difference maker. No Collaros = No Playoff wins for us.

Everyone needs to just calm the **** down. McGuire's gonna be fine. The team is gonna be fine.

If Collaros plays next week and I have my doubts it should a quarter then straight to the locker room
