As much as I am a Rider fan, I would hate my own fan base if I wasn’t a part of it, and I still hate it. I’m a CFL fan, and a football fan… no luck. Pure talent.

We have the best defense of the generation and the worst kicker of the generation. First rounders in the CFL are often magic beans. You don't sacrifice a Grey Cup over a first round pick. Walters makes that trade 100 out of 100 times if it's on the table.

Stamps scare me the most in the West right now and Toronto the most overall to be honest.

Yes! The other Muamba was the most consistent safety I’ve ever seen. How he never ever failed to be three steps too late was f***ing mindblowing.

Kicking is about figuring out the angles & compensating for wind & weather as well as handling pressure. Seen none of that from Mourtada. He's a waste of a roster spot.

Taman was assistant GM and GM from 1999-2008 and among his most notable trades, he swapped a conditional draft pick and Chris Perez to BC for Moe Eliwonibi and Khari Jones in 2000. He traded a first and third round pick in 2001 to get the rights to Doug Brown (the first round pick given up turned into Jon Oosterhaus, who was cut by Calgary and scooped up by the Bombers anyway). He traded a first round pick in 2004 to land Kevin Glenn. and he swapped a conditional pick in 2008 to bring in Zeke Moreno. I agree long term it is not a good strategy to keep depth, but Gauthier was hardly the only good draft pick trade he made.

I was in the same boat but I have been swayed. We are in a window to win and I think we should go for it.

Bighill and Jefferson are generational talents. Jefferson is the Mike Sellers of DL. He shouldn't even be here. If not for his troubles in his early 20s, he'd be in the NFL. If Bighill was an inch or two taller, he'd be in the NFL. And then you've got Jeffcoat, who would be a shining star on any other team. Stove would be an NFLer if an inch or two taller. It's a ridiculous D that they've built.

A good DB makes a great receiver coach. Who better to help receivers exploit what DB's see and do...and how to attack them. Generally at the pro level that coach is just augmenting what they should already know about catching a ball..any DB knows all the routes in the receiving tree and how to best defend them so parlaying that to receivers is a benefit...plus as stated...is an entry level position as well..

I kept track, Evan Johnson gave up 6 pressures. Clark gave up 3, Ferland gave up 1. Evan Johnson got caved by Mike Rose. But what frustrates me more is Jason Shivers’ insistence on running zone D. It’s terrible. It’s soft. It’s so easy to get 7+ yard through the air on Shivers’ zone D.

I was going to head up for the game but Yeesh. Seeing a game at McMahon isn’t a treat when it’s a win, let alone a loss.

I never thought we'd see a D better than Ty Jones, Greg Battle & co., but the 2019 - 2021 group definitely is. Not just the talent but the flat out effort and love of the game.

Calgary's biggest liability is behind center, and he looks very brittle. The receivers as a whole are average- way below the talent level of previous years, Over in Riderfans, they are moving on in their healing and have gone from denial to anger and depression.

I have an uncle in his early 70s who was out visiting this weekend... Rabid Bombers fan.... And I asked him this very question. He says this is the best Bombers D of all time. That is a HELL of a statement.

I hope we just go with Leggz now..it will give him a confidence boost and best way to learn is when bullets fly..he has 5 games to get it right. Allows us to use that extra DI spot on an American which may be beneficial in game come crunch time...a DB or receiver..heck even an extra olineman. Not like Leggz was down right brutal..he just needs to be consistent..and that will come with in game reps..we went 8-1 being God awfull so I'm sure at worst with this team we can still do 3-2 to close out...and host WF

Leggett was probably my favourite player for a while. Leaves a real sour taste in my mouth the way he went out and was pretty critical of the team at a time when we were actually doing the right things as an organization. I miss all the trickery we used to do and we usually seemed to have a big edge on special teams back then. In those days we would never be outplayed on special teams and we'd usually have a trick up our sleeves. I'm guessing we don't really take as many risks now because our team is that good that we assume that our offense and defense will take care of business and our special teams just needs to be average to get the W. Not complaining, just interesting how we have evolved as an organization.

ZC’s career would be over if he remained in Sask with this OLine… I’m happy for him.

I'm a huge fan of Hansen. He has improved so much Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but is anyone else concerned when we have Harris and Colaros and numerous other starters still on the field in garbage time? Man I'd be unhappy if we had an injury late when the game was already decided. Last night up 3 scores with 3 minutes and all starters still there was crazy. And Maguire needs some reps even if they're meaningless. And we have 2 Canadian running backs that could use a few plays.

The Stamps have some talent but not enough to compete with us but on any given day we can be beat.

We always play like crap in Toronto & Montreal. I don't know why.

Stamps worry me most. They've got some solid receivers, they got a running back who is finding his groove and Paredes is his usual self .. if Maier delivers on his promise or BLM somehow rejuvenates himself they could 2001 us.

I'd rather trade Gray than a high pick. Those picks are more valuable with the rookie contracts now. Personally think it was a major screwup to not have 2-3 guys up here on the bye week so they'd be ready to play by now. Put the best one on the roster.
