For all the " Elks hung in there for a long time " talk from Suitor this game could easily have been 50-3. The Bombers either need to bring in a legit kicker or hand in back to Leggio and let him learn on the job.

Revisit that if we lose west final 17-16 cause our kicker missed 3 field goals..after we struggled all season....first rounder looks pretty good...plus we have drafted guys who we been grooming now for several years..and need to be paid and technically I don't see a huge need for a first rounder this year ..we draft well as it is so I'd sacrifice this year for chance to repeat

First thing I did when I got home was re-watch the goal line stand on the Bombers' first drive. McGuire was 100% in... you could see on the replay with the overhead shot, even after he got pushed back a bit, the white stripe on the ball had clearly broken the plane of the goal line.

Last night, we were wondering if we could get to the half scoring more points than Edmonton had yards.

The fact that the Bombers can make so many errors and still walk away with a dominant victory should frighten the hell out of the rest of the CFL.

It's hard to pick the 3 stars because I feel Edm was equally as bad as Wpg was okay. Bombers weren't great in 2/3 phases and were okay/good enough 1/3. 1. Defense as a whole, Bighill in particular. 2. OL, especially during garbage time. We've heard it said again and again that there is nothing more demoralizing to a team than knowing a team is going to run on you every play and still not being able to do a damn thing about it. Harris was okay but it was garbage time and the OL did the work. 3. Coaches. MOS especially. This team doesn't take a night off. HH. Mike Benson. I was mad at myself for not knowing who the hell 40 was. Unsung hero.

1 harris his best game since the grey cup. 24 carries, 150 yards, 2 tds 1 catch 24 yards. 2 Biggie. All over the field, 0 flexs all night. 3 Neufeld and Eli. Hardrick goes out for the game. Neufeld did great at T and Eli had atleast 4 pancakes and drove the pile twice. hh Nichols big blocked punt. He had some big hits tnite too. Block of the game, demski on a DB for harris' 2nd td. Crunch of the game goes to miller with a big pop on the kick off cover.

I'm a huge fan of Hansen. He has improved so much Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but is anyone else concerned when we have Harris and Colaros and numerous other starters still on the field in garbage time? Man I'd be unhappy if we had an injury late when the game was already decided. Last night up 3 scores with 3 minutes and all starters still there was crazy. And Maguire needs some reps even if they're meaningless. And we have 2 Canadian running backs that could use a few plays.

2001 did not feel like this. We kept winning, but it didn’lt feel dominant. This is like the the 80s. The Bombers I grew up with. I was still worried everyone was too cocky. Hard not to be. Defense. Everyone. Harris. Demski. Eli. The German. I’m going to start flying to every game.
