Alright this bothered me. Just how many people can say they won a Grey Cup with Saskatchewan? I looked it up... and the Riders' have won the Grey Cup 4 times... As a further comparable, the Blue Bombers have 75 players with 2 or more Cup rings with the franchise. 42 of those 75 have 2, 21 of them have 3, and 12 are four time Blue Bomber Cup champions. Hopefully we will add a large number of two time winners to the ranks this December.

Mike Kelly, for all his faults, was one win away from hosting a playoff game. Sure, he cheated, lied, bullied and bluffed his way straight into a prison cell before he was fired but at least he went down fighting. Burke just rolled over and waited for it all to be over.

Ya knowni was curious what the mob over there was thinking before labour day and I **** you not, someone said that the Bombers barely beat up a banged up Hamilton squad... I paused for a second and after that first td the Bombers d gave up nothing and basically had their way with the tickets the rest of the night, and they were a healthier squad than the one that went into Regina. Just no awareness at all in that fanbase.

Not surprisingly the majority of cases are from the areas with the least vaxx rate. It's crazy when Winnipeg where most the population lives has less than half of the active cases

The day Lunsford was fired in 1982 & was replaced by Paul Robson was a great day for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Do you find it interesting that if we had beat a first game BC team with Reilly throwing powderpuffs, a beat up Hamilton team(we beat them less beat up) and barely beat sad sack Ottawa, that it would be said we beat nobody of any significance, and that our record wasn't true indicator of how good we are, yet thats the Rider's season to date, and they are the heavily favored team and the sad sack media is calling them the elite team of the year???...makes u go hmmmm eh? Yet we are 3-1 with way more significant injuries, and played better teams

Not sure if mentioned but Nik Ehlers had 6 points in a 6 goal performance by Denmark to qualify for the Olympics. No he didn't score all 6 but still.. 6 points. Another Jet off to the Olympics along with Scheif for Canada, helle and likely Connor for the US. Maybe Wheeler also

I can see Roosevelt being in the lineup even if Demski is back. He wont be a starter though. Maybe he comes in on some second down plays. So the the usual starters will be Adams, Lawler, Demski, Bailey & Woli. McKnight comes out in favor of Roosevelt. And since we will be starting 8 Cdns, Tyrell will come out as well.

if the wheels dont fall off in the first 6-8 minutes in Regina on Sunday...I see no reason why we don't win...not handily, but never in doubt...we have the better all around team and coaching, and are wayyyyy more disciplined and play as a team...not a bunch of show boaters mugging for the camera and being selfish

I forgot about those two clowns. I hated Mike Kelly as well but Joe Mack didn't know his head from a tub of butter. I'm glad that was a memory that had to be reminded instead of it always sticking out like a sore thumb.

I'll have to go with Mack and Buchko Era... I think that did the most damage to the Bombers Brand. Both were incompetent fools over their head. U can say what u want about Kelly but... some ppl thought he was a breath of fresh hair.. he was polarizing really but the mack buchko Era was just embarrassing for the entire organization top to bottom Atleast Mike Kelly cared about the bombers and I did believe him when he said it was his dream head coaching job. Buchko and Mack tho... just constant problems on and off the field

Reindolt was a bad coach, but at least he was a decent guy. I sat with him at a Grey Cup party and talked for an hour about football. He was highly entertaining. The Kelly year was the worst for me. I wouldn't have sat down and talked with him if he was the only person who had a chair available at his table and I have really bad knees.

While I would also like to see him score on LDC. There's no chance he's playing with 1 day of practice on a new team. Especially now that Demski could return.

Nichols will throw a pick at the 1 which will be fumbled rj harris recovers it and scores a td. Next in the last 3 minutes down by approximately 107 points nichols will be pulled and davis put in. Who will fumble the snap, dedmon picks it up and runs 75 yards for a td. Finally vaj will turn the wrong way to hand the ball off, and will instead hand the ball directly to a RBs DE who runs it in for a td. Finaly score 222-21. Plop will say they scored enough to win and just need to tighten up the defense. He still wont get fired though because every one else above his pay grade is too busy trying to find new jobs and all their fans are made of cardboard.

We have had to scrape and claw lots this year. The riders have coasted after offensive surges. If we can stay close early we got it. But man I hope we coach and execute well. Soft deep zone isn't gonna get it done. We know what the riders do on offense. Timing routes attacking seams. Fajardo improvising. Basic run call. Teams can and will adapt to the same timing routes. I hope it's us first. I feel like it'll be the fewest greenies in the stands ever for a bjb
