It's nothing but an article that dances around the periphery of anti vaccination/ anti passport/ anti mask. Look at the state's in the US that embrace this mentality , they are the worst hit by the 4th wave. Look what is begining to happen in Southern Health where less then %20 of the population has half the cases. Nothing makes us safe but vaccines, masks and passports make us safer. Articles like that are nothing but fodder for covidiots.

Saw a tweet from Bauming saying that Darby has been in and Mike Jones back a corner. That would be welcome news as Josh Miller hasn't exactly excelled there.

There was also a veiled pro-Conservative slant in the article, wrapped up in generalities and a “if we can’t fix everything, why do anything?” mindset. Since vaccines don’t actually stop the transmission of COVID-19, then forced vaccination is pointless. Except they gloss over the fact that vaccinations reduce the severity of the illness if contracted, which leads to less hospitalizations and strain on the system, among other benefits. And the article starts with a jab at the NDP for promoting the mandatory vaccines and passports, saying it puts into question Singh’s entire ability to be a leader, and then concludes by saying the Ontario Conservatives seem to be taking the only rational approach. Hmm, almost sounds like there is an election going on and someone wants to take sides with a back door argument.

I agree. We should keep political agendas away from the CFL discussion and in the several General discussion threads available. Just sickening that a guy puts up an O.K symbol and is branded a white supremacist without a single shred of proof or any general knowledge about the man and his character. Lets be a little more classy MBB.

Nightclubs and all other licensed premises. Casinos, bingo halls and VLT lounges. Movie theatres. Fitness centres, gyms and indoor sporting and recreational facilities (excluding youth recreational sport). Organized indoor group recreational classes and activities, and indoor recreational businesses.

And those numbers are in all likelihood far worse.The same anti everything crowd will only get tested if they are very, very sick. These aren't contentious people that want to know if they are sick so they don't spread Covid and get tested early . I absolutly had to go to Winkler today for things I just can't get elsewhere easily. I had trouble getting what I needed so I went to 4 buisnesses. No employees or customers other than me had a mask on. Not one. I finally went to The Bulk Barn and saw a masked customer going in and their workers were masked. Good on them for being the lone business that cares about their staff and customers.

Yes vaccinated people CAN spread it, BUT the likelihood that they will is reduced, even a possibility that vaccinated people only spread it when symptoms appear. But no one talks about the details...only "YOU STILL GET IT!!! YOU STILL SPREAD IT!!!". Super annoying and dumb.

I'm very happy with the vaxx mandate. Get it done. I wish they would have done this on July 1st, so that the kids were going back to a safer school but at least it's getting done now. Hooray!
