Don't mean to distract anyone from tonights game, or to be a downer, but I have to get this off my chest: this game was very, very emotional for me. My Mom was a big Blue Bomber fan. And back in November, 2019, we watched the Bombers win the Cup together. We cried and hugged each other with joy, as she waited so long to see the Blue win the Cup (as did we all). Last week our family lost our Mom, at age 96. She lived a long and good life and she truly had a heart of gold (I'd like to think "Blue And Gold!"😉) and was loved by all who knew her. And that Grey Cup game was the last Bomber game she would ever see. It breaks my heart that she couldn't watch the game tonight, but if she could have, she would have had a big smile on her face, to see the Bombers win, especially after this last year and a half or so of the world going crazy. So, with a mixture of happiness and sadness, I'm thinking of Mom tonight. #ForMyMom #ForThe W🥲💔🏈

Ham OL doing a pretty job of pass pro.... ZC scrambles from side to side...before throwing incomplete Not much running game from either team Bomber O comes up with another 2 and out Willie Jefferson starts forward, then drops back..... ....and has the ball thrown right to him by Masoil Back to back runs by Oliveria for first down.. But Bomber short pass game...not clicking Sayles with nice shoestring tackle to force punt Oliveria takes screen pass for 20.....the kid is feeling it... ZC avoids sack and hits Lawler for first down Zac then escapes pocket and scrambles for 18 Finally Zac hangs it up for Lawler who wins jump ball in end zone ...to cap 95 yard drive and a 14 to 6 lead. Oliveria bashes for another 9. Kid hits the hole HARD Zac hits Woltman, time running down Bombers skip the 50+ FG attempt....halftime Plenty more yapping and shoving out there.... Both teams trading 2 and outs. Hamilton OL clutching and grabbing.... .....as Bomber DL is dialing it up now Jeffcoat roller skates a Hamilton O-lineman Masoli feeling the heat and running for his life Cats give up a safety Cats shut out for over 30 minutes now.... Jones very active on D... ZC tries to dance around the pocket and is sacked ...as Ham D stiffening....as well Masoli sacked by Sayles, who is having a good outing Masoli pressured... dumps it to Banks, who fumbles, Blue recover But Demski drops 2nd down pass. Banks catches a couple, but Ticat drive stalls Neither team generating much O, right now Banks is one of the biggest whiners ever... Oliveria with another 10 yds and a draw for 10 more Kid is pretty pumped.....and should be Brady O....still going.....yet another 10 yards Blue OL taking over....at this stage Zack hits Wilson down to the 10 But Illegal procedure and can't punch this in Settling for a crappy 15 yd FG 19-6 Good pass D by LB Rocquemore Liegghio gets a great double bounce.....80 yd punt Masoli pressured by Jeffcoat, throws it away 2 minutes left.....Hamilton 2 dump passes for first downs ....but this business is eating up a lot of time.. ...as Bomber secondary laying back at bit Masoli goes to the well....one more time... But throws it right to Rocquemore, for the pick Game Oliveria still pounding for still one more FD. Tiger cats scored on their first drive on O... ....then was shut out for the remaining 55 minutes 0 turnovers by the Bombers.... Yeah the panel was all giddy after he was beat on the first td but christ his fingers touched that ball, one step away from it being an INT. The secondary with as many new faces as it had played pretty ******* good if you ask me.

The vendors, security, event day staff, volunteers... all wore masks to protect us fans. It wasn't hard for me to do the same in return for them. Its just a matter of being decent and respectful, not ignorant or fearful. Being polite to strangers is optional but I do it anyway. I see this much the same.

I also noticed it. Assumed it was the Province's, trying to catch people dancing.

Man did I just realize how much I missed these.

I think you can go a long way when Jeff Hecht isn't your safety. Our two epic collapses in 2019 that got made into CFL-in-40 games in 2020 were necessary medicine to get Brandon Alexander into the right spot.

the make-up of this team and the character of the guys is pretty damn impressive, and is a huge key to our success...leaders across the board and nice to see Biggie healthy and being...well...Biggie. Talking to him when we are training he was knicked all of last year Kongo is gonna be a friggen stud! those 3 ends and contributions from the Panzer are gonna give team fits, and that Sayles guy impressed the hell outta me...can't wait to see him gain his CFL legs Let Harris heal right up before rushing him back...get Brady tons of reps and experience..what a one-two punch that will be in the colder weather...Lawler...best mitts in the CFL, and best seen in a while...check out some of his clips from college O-line..Dline...both best in league...bar none

It's nice to be on this side of his Houdini act. Can remember a lot of times cursing him on other teams for escaping when he was dead to rights. His best attribute by far as a qb is not only does he escape but he keeps looking downfield and finds targets.

That's the Bomber team I love. Just like the Grey Cup they beat the ticats up all over the field. Brandon Banks whining that the Bombers D is too hard again. What a puss. Hey national media, time to give this team it's due. Deep and tough. They may lose games but the other team will have to earn it the hard way.

Might not be the best QB in the cfl but what a difference it makes having a guy that can move around in the pocket and make a throw down field. We haven’t had that in a long time.

Speaking as something of an expert on the matter, most of this post is patently false. Voice has little or nothing to do with quality of PBP. It's your ability to communicate. Rod Black always sounds like he's a second or two behind the play, and not describing it as it's happening. That's the biggest issue with him. I'm not even going to get into the hockey stuff mentioned here.......it's beyond the realm of understanding.

I was a fan of Nichols but he wouldn’t be able to make half the throws ZC made tonight.

Buck stretched the field a number of times. Ti Cats had to respect that which opened up the run game. LaPo would have been throwing three yard hitches & outs. As well as spreading the ball all over the field. The Bomber offense didn't have the same jive as LaPo's. I had the feeling Buck would call a deep throw whenever he wanted. Did you notice how emotional Wade Miller was when he unveiled the GC banner. He was in tears. Great stuff! It was a lonnnnng 620 days. The optics looked good. Some great aerial shots of the stadium as well as inside. That will bring in more viewers.

Not sure why I never thought of Tom Clements comparison before. Kind of fits.

1. Brady Oliviera. Off to a slow start but started finding his legs in the 2nd quarter. By games end he was dominating. He better take the Big Men in front out for dinner as they blocked hard for him. 2. Zach Collaros. Suddenly it's 1984 again & it's like Tommy Clements stepped out of a time machine. He made plays with his arms & his legs to avoid the rush & extend plays. 3. Gonna give it to the entire defense. They dominated the LOS & pressured Massoli all night. They played smashmouth again & the Cats couldn't handle it. I'm sure other DC's are watching & now have a good idea how to stop that Ti Cat offense & take Brandon Banks head out of the game. HHA: Offensive line. Always the unsung heoes. They dominated.

I think we should have a moment of silence for Sticky Stala and Sam Giguere's abs.

1 - D line... can't single out any of them all were fantastic. 2 - O line... how can you single any of them out either. 3 - Oliviera - The guy found some great holes and made great cuts which completely exhausted the Hamilton D in the 2nd half. HH - Lawler, Demski (first half), Bighill, Collaros for being handsome

Another dominant defensive performance. Also, start the transition to Oliveria, he’s going to take over eventually.

Somehow, I do not feel any compassion whatever.

1 Zach collaros. Carried the offense till we got the run going. Took some hits and made a lot happen with his legs. 2 Brady Oliveira. Huge night. A big catch lots of grinding runs. And a couple good blocks. 3 the dl. Every guy had big plays and lots of pressure Hh woli didn't get much of a looks but he had a huge block on the 2nd td pass.

I just want their ol exposed for the joke it is.

I would like the Riders to lose tonight. I don't want a reason for the CFL media people to put them on top of the Power Ranking next week.

Bombers once again won the turnover battle (3-0). Only had 5 penalties for 45 yards. Almost like being disciplined matters.

Alford's coverage on that TD was almost perfect... unfortunately the throw was perfecter (definitely a word)... 5 mins into the game and that was the last highlight for the Cats

I don't watch much soccer but what a game! Lots of early pressure from Sweden and our keeper made a couple of huge saves to keep Canada in it.

Oh and forgot to say this, a big Ha Ha to Nye for his first game prediction.

I thought entry to stadium was fine and a breeze all things considered, and lines for concessions...is what it is suck it up...try going to a 60 to 90k stadium capacity and get back to me...suck it up buttercups. On a real good note the one liqour/beer vendor where we came in at Gate 1 had debit down...so drinks were free as free could be!!...not sure how long that lasted but was a bonus...luckily I had some actual cash on me so the servers got a fat tip from us

Can the media around the country finally gives us some damn respect? Our D from top to bottom dominated and our O-line was as magnicent as they were in the last season. With Collaros now at QB we are only better. What a great game!

1. Oliviera - dude had his coming out party in front of his friends and family. 2. Collaros - just so mobile.. so many of these plays don't happen early 2019. 3. The D - 6 points against says it all HH gonna go to Casey Sayles who I noticed a few times making big plays

They would've had a ton of sacks if it wasn't for Masolis houdini routine. Beware cfl offenses. This defense is loaded and scary.

1. Jefferson - DL interception kills teams 2. Bighill - way way underrated leadership and gap control 3. Lawler - just a great receiver, allowed Collaros to go deep and opened up the running game HH Oliviera - great game without jitters

Man, watching Zach play is like watching Tom Clements. Both guys were great at scrambling & extending plays. Love it.
