Good to see Demski having a strong camp. I was a bit meh on him during the regular season but he was huge for us in the playoffs.

after Briggs and Gauthier, we only have rookies Cadwallader and Lowes (who is currently not practicing). this pickup is for ST for sure and 13 ST tackles is music in O’Shea’s ears.

So just an update from the west, in case anyone is curious about what happens if and when you ditch the masks...... AB seeing exponential growth again, due to Delta Variant and largest group of "unvaccinated even though eligible" population in the country. 96% of all new cases are people not fully vaccinated. Some of that is kids, but most is assholes not getting vaccinated. It's gonna be BRUTAL come fall time....and it's already begun.

anti-vaxxers/maskers are, as a rule, among the dumbest in society.......not a huge shock that this guy fits the mold.

I agree, the same that happened to Harris just happened to me mowing my lawn this morning...Crown may start flowing a bit earlier than usual today...lol don't turn me into the Germans! Demski played like a man on a mission in the playoffs. He definitely displayed another gear and the heart of a lion during those 3 games that I'm sure Osh just loved to see.

There also been some evidence that people who are long haulers have seen improvements after taking the vaccine.

I still can't wrap my brain around this. Shut the most of the world down for the better part of a year and then some, then have Olympics in a country with an insanely low vaccine uptake.

Definitely concerning about Harris but I am hopeful that Oliveria+Demski etc can gives us enough at that spot.

well that's done, I got my second vaccination and in two weeks I can apply for my vax card. I celebrated by doing something I had been wanting to do for awhile....I bought a cotton candy burrito from Tee-Yah's (because the explained to me once how long these are supposed to last, and they would only last about 20 minutes wrapped in cotton candy, so I felt it would be necessary to have a ride with me, and I told them I would need two spoons to share with my ride, because it was kind of big anyway)

Nice to hear Harris was back taking reps today. I'm sure at this rate he will be ready to start for the season. But I'm sure we are gonna see less reliance on Harris and more split carries than ever. Wish we could see dru brown in a pre season game.

Nichols was a good QB for us and frankly if we don't turn to him after the 1-4 start in 2016, we likely don't win the 2019 Cup and the current regime is long gone. That said, hopefully Collaros stays healthy and gives us a little more at the QB position.

I've been saying for awhile now, the next wave (3rd, 4th, whatever....) is "The Darwin Wave". Survival of the fittest....only the truly stupid will succumb to the virus at this point.
