Wasn't Lawler signed in 2018? I know he didn't play but it does help to be in the system. I think it was the same with Charles Nelson. Nelson is another guy that looks to have what it takes if he could stay healthy...

Funny thing when you talk to O’Shea he maybe the most talkative guy I have met with the Bombers.

I wouldn't expect a sell out. We only sell 25k to that stadium at the best of times. Add on the fact that people are hesitant of crowds now, plus the league has been out of the national spotlight for over a year now. I think crowds are going to trickle, rather than roar back, and I won't be surprised if it happens league wide.

It's exactly what Suitor said and nobody's ever denied it. It didn't sound bad. It sounded like a guy who couldn't believe what he was seeing. He wasn't cheering one way or another... Just honestly couldn't believe it.

I was at the lake, everyone else had gone to bed, tried the radio feed earlier but the delay to the video feed on the TV was about 6 seconds, so stuck with the TSN broadcast. After the Glenn fumble and the Now-Elks took the lead, wanted Irving’s take on how we lost that game we deserved to win. So I have it on in the background and hear Bob say “he’s got it AND HE’S GONE!” Not totally believing what I heard I locked in to the TV feed not sure how they could pull it off. As soon as I saw the cover zero I imagined the play, but even then was stunned how the corner lowered his head and ran past the tackle. Only other thing I remember to this day is Glen Suitor, despite his own denials on the topic, yelling “Oh no!” As the play unfolded. I defy anyone to tell me he said something different. I don’t blame it on his homerism as much as his shock as a former defensive player that such a gaffe could be made, but either way it sounded bad. And stunningly the Edmonton defence would botch a similar play against the Lions a year or two later against Geroy Simon at game’s end to give one away.

Excellent job by Wab Kinew - I just took the time to listen again. For them to try labeling that as bullying - is beyond tone deaf.

I bumped into an old Winnipeg sports-writer one time and he told me this: "Mike Kelly was a sports-writers dream come true. Mike O'Shea is every sports-writer's nightmare". Those coaches' call in shows with Kelly were classics. I gave up listening to poor old Bob try and do call-in shows with O'Shea, as the two word grunts in response to a detailed question were just not really doing much for me. I love Osh of course and what he has done for the Bombers, but he's definitely not a talkative guy, and that's ok.

I wouldn't say it is, these receivers had no issues once we moved on from Nichols and had guys who could throw the ball in to an area for these receivers to make plays.

WHEW......I get the jitters when I hear of injuries to key guys like Darvin....IF it's short term I think we have depth on our roster with the new guys we brought in to cover it
