Shots were a little misleading as the Jets best chances did not end up registering a shot. Thought Scheifele and Wheeler were trying a little too hard to set up Dubois a few times. Need to simplify, not look for the 5 way passing plays. Case in point - Appleton in the slot and tries to make a 2 foot pass to Lowry who is double covered. Shoot the puck.

That's the problem. There's not a lot of trust between fans & the league with the Commissioner in the forefront of it all. We just feel that whatever he says just isn't the truth. It's all for show. He disappears when news is bad & reappears when he can give us good news. And then we're not sure it really is....

absolutely gutted for friends and co-workers at Bell Media over the last couple of weeks. Sickening. There was a time in my life where I wanted nothing more than to work in Winnipeg or Calgary radio. With age and experience I've come to realize that the job security in a smaller market is worth far more than the money or "prestige" (insert eyeroll) from working in a bigger market. The constant turnover....one bad ratings book is all it takes.....is just not worthwhile. Ugh. Brutal day for media, brutal day for sports fans in Wpg. CJOB is great, but having less sports talk overall is a bad thing for the city.
