Fajardo isn't absolutely god awful as some of the people on here are making him out to be. That being said I'm not sure who else in the league would be looking his way since each team seems to be set at QB so they could of gave him a more prove me deal. Either way it will be interesting to see how the season goes for him and if people take away his run game from him and force him to throw in the pocket.

I don't think he figured them out...caught many off-guard at first, as he was generally just a runner, but as season rolled on...his stats declined. Plus teams were flatfooted on a lot of his deep throws...most of which hung up there and basically was a 50/50 or one where db was in chase a bit, as nobody knew he could, or would throw...Those balls will be easy picks now, as they wee moreso later in season...he has a noodle arm, and not a lot of pocket poise McGuire has a cannon..throws on a line, and can and will stand in the pocket...looking forward to more reps from him this year

What astounds me most about the deal is that the Riders were bidding against themselves. No one is interested in him. But, the Riders will probably be spending to the cap again. They probably have more flexibility than anyone else on this. They have the room and will probably do well in FA.

So the National Guard for DC is one the way. Could only be deployed by the Dept. of Defence on Trump’s say so. The original request was denied. But the Governors of States can authorize it as well, which is what the Governors of Maryland and Virginia did. Only once they mobilized did Trump flip and order the DC guard to activate as well. Didn’t want to be shown up by actual leaders taking action. When asked why the DC National Guard was not being deployed, someone was quoted as saying the “optics” of having the troops at the Capitol would look bad. Take another look at the picture above and ask why it was not an issue when BLM had its protests, which never got near the Capitol steps. Then look at pictures of the domestic terrorists (don’t call them protesters) storming the building with Confederate flags - somethig that was not even achieved during the Civil War - ripping down American flags and replacing them with Trump flags, attacking police, smashing windows, or breaking into Senators’ offices and looting the place, and ask how those optics look? To be fair to those folks, the mayor had requested National Guard assistance ahead of time and was denied by the DOD, and the Capitol police and WPD were out in force, but were overmatched. I won’t speak for those individual officers who did nothing or took selfies.

I don't know that we're expecting big things. I think we've seen the skillset in practice and are encouraged to see if he can do it on the field in a game. We're not starting him now, anyhow. Yes, perhaps Cody has figured some stuff out but he's so flawed in many areas. I don't expect him to be able to overcome his deficiencies but he'll likely get better.

After tonight's senate take over- a few thoughts: Brian Kemp stole the election from Stacey Abrams in her bid for governor. Stacey Abrams in turn, helped to unseated trump, wrest control of the senate from the GOP and fueled a new generation of voters in Georgia. Thank you Brian Kemp. Stacey Abrams is a ******* assassin of the GOP. :The trump era dawned on the GOP controlling: the Senate, Congress and the Executive branch. 4 years later, the GOP lost: Congress, the Executive branch, now the Senate and a GOP at war with itself... I guess that answers the age old question, "WHat happens when you elect a person that bankrupted a casino to the POTUS?" With every defeat of the GOP I always pause and remember this little tweet from Lady G: Now after the 20th of this month, maybe the people of the USA will get the help and leadership they need.
