yeah, and the "far left" in American politics is somewhere around the center everywhere else in the world. Government-sponsored health care and tuition are not controversial things to offer for most of the developed nations in the world.

Nah. Here;s the thing, I know you equate far left with being worse than the alt right but it isnt true. Someone who's worse trait is they want free health care, free tuition etc is not the same as someone that wants all Muslims and Mexicans locked in cages and who support white supremacy. The far left can be objectionable on policy. The far right is objectionable on morality.

You are insane you know that right? You know which party it was that withheld evidence and witnesses right? Here's a hint, the same ones who don't want to have anyone testify in the impeachment trial, which is the real unprecedented thing. But hey you probably got some nut job right wing talking point about how that's all democrats too. Fact is trump has done a hell of a lot of things to be worthy of impeachment, but they only chose to go with these 2 very obvious ones. Which Republicans are just ignoring and holding a sham trial in the senate on. They even admitted to it. So how do you reconcile that?

In September 2015, a bunch of us volunteers were taking a Grey Cup security awareness course in the Blue and Gold room at the stadium. It was being put on by the US Department of Homeland Security. Anyway, we were on a break and we went out to the little lobby at the top overlooking the stadium and were watching practice. Matt Nichols had just arrived in town and was taking reps. Drew Willy was sitting there watching practice taking notes and eating chicken. A group of us were watching the QBs tossing fade routes into the end zone, and commenting how nice of a ball Nichols seemed to throw. Willy got up with his plate of chicken and left, we never thought anything of it, until the next day when we took our break and were informed that at the request of the ball club this area would now be off limits to us during the break and we would have to go down to the main stands if we wanted to watch practice during the break. Only guy who was there was Willy the day before.

That's not being thrown under the bus at all and it wasn't the club who went to the media. Being thrown under the bus would be Walters holding a press conference and saying something like "due to his game manager status and being injury-prone, we've decided to cut ties with Matt Nichols and focus on signing a real QB... Zach Collaros". The reality is that once they made the choice that they want to bring Collaros back, they had 3 options with Nichols: A) Give him a heads up so he can start making other plans B) say nothing and leave him twisting in the wind C) give him false hope that he'll be back as QB1. They chose the most professional and respectful route available to them.

what makes it partisan? Calling it partisan implies that you believe that Trump has done nothing wrong... Do you believe that and please explain why you think this behaviour is acceptable. I find it interesting that some posters here claimed pretty confidently that Collaros was just a rental and he was good as gone to the Argoblows at season end. My guess is Collaros has a warm spot for our organization in giving him the shot he needed that is competing with Pinball's smile and motivational speeches.

in 5 NFL seasons (45 games played) he had 67 catches for 852 yards and 5 TDs... decent and effective as a NFL receiver... we'll never know how he'd be as a CFL receiver until we see it...

You can't talk GOAT without including this guy. He anchored the Bombers OL at LT & was an All Canadian 6 times, four with us. To me, Walby, Bryant & Frank were the 3 best tackles who ever played. Re-sign Roh, if or when Jefferson comes back they can deal with it at that time. Jeffcoat, Roh, McCallister is a solid start.

I agree with the decision to focus on Collaros. Neither of these options are a pillar of health. However, Collaros is hands down the more gifted of the two. He's a risk to get another injury or a concussion again but he showed that with all his injuries in the past he's still very physically gifted when healthy. And he won the Grey Cup. Nichols has IMO lost some zip on his passes and has zero mobility at this point in his career. I would consider looking at MBT as a backup should he be available.
