No. For some reason the media really isn't on it, but anyone who knows anything about football can see a lot of schematic issues with this offense, and really the stink is following Lapo around this whole decade no matter which QB, which players he has.

1. Collaros - he's back! Can Lapo keep him upright? 2. Bighill - usually useless, but 7 tackles, 1 sack. Heating up at the right time? 3. Grant - flipping the field at opportune times HH - me. I'm drunk!

Super happy for Zach given all the crap he has gone through. After all the cheap shots he has taken the refs manage to miss another when Zach is clearly sliding. Time for the league to get serious about player safety for people not named Bo Levi.

I wonder. Seems like the trend now is for NFL teams to prefer a veteran journeyman back up QB, and maybe have a draft pick or highly touted UDFA as developmental. Streveler I don’t think would be of much interest. Hybrid what? QB/RB? Doesn’t have much good CFL tape throwing

You have to wonder why Rogers would do such a classless act. Not once, but twice. I think differently of him now.

That first challenge/timeout basically has to be used before the 3 minute warning in the 4th. I believe that’s why O’Shea often takes a shot on challenges close to the 3 minute warning. There were two blatant missed calls he could have challenged in the first half, the non-catch you mentioned and a headshot on Collaros by Westerman on the Bombers opening drive.

Morning Big Blue! Had to watch the game this morning as I couldn't view the game live yesterday. Calgary with the 3rd and two gamble early, Bo thought he could throw for 2 yards, and the play gets called back for holding. Made me think, if a team gambles on 3rd down, and takes a holding penalty, they should lose the down too. Anyone agree? Too radical? On the first Zack INT, he is throwing to Adams and Adams takes himself completely out of the play. Geez, I wish he'd at least try to go get the ball. So soft. On the hook-slide by Zack early on, it sure looked like a targeted head shot to me. Zack is down and sliding on his butt when he gets drilled. Glad the defender missed and Zack's shoulder took most of the collision. Definitely had me whincing. Suitor saying the hit is legal because the head shot was launched before Zack slid. What a moron that man is. The 3-man rush is just crazy. Bo with way too much time (as Suitor told us ad nauseum) and if his receivers had had a better day, he eviscerates us. Haven't waded through the thread yet so forgive any rehashing pls. Wasn't a big fan of Collaros coming on board, but I must admit, he made plays Nichols just couldn't the last year and a bit. He hit receivers in the hands and they actually turned up field. He extended plays and looked for receivers. He didn't throw 80% of his passes to Harris. The guy had VERY limited time with our team, hasn't played football in over a year, and put up numbers as good as Nichols against arguably the team to beat in the CFL who needed that win. Hats off to Collaros. I didn't expect much, and I certainly didn't expect to win yesterday. Also, eff the Calgary for the over the top outright shows of disrespect. Need a special teamer to put Mitchell or Rogers in the gutter after that garbage.

This needs to be underlined. Some really well placed punts by Medlock, never mind his rescuing of an errant snap to get the kick away. 👍

Collaros- looked good with not too much film / play book time yet OL - solid pass pro against a good front, they were very good in the 4th Q when it really counted. Rushing attack was average without the dual threat, but we’ll take the W D - made that last stop when it counted. I was questioning the call but they sure proved me wrong HH Medlock - chip shot FG for the win. But more important, some nice punts that pinned the Stamps deep. On a side note, the Stamps’ kicking game probably cost them a win. Missed FG, missed convert, costly decision / terrible punt out of their own end zone

Collaros Bighill Demski HH...Janarion Grant For all those that are comparing Collaros numbers to Strevelers numbers is moot. Collaros moved the ball and made plays that Streveler would or could not have made. The TD pass to Adams is a play that Streveler would not have made. I also think the O-line played better but more importantly the Stamps had to respect Collaros more than they did last week with Streveler. Sure there were warts in his game but with more practice time he'll develop more rapport with his receivers. Last night we saw a QB drive the field for a win. When was the last time we saw a WBB QB do that? Sure his numbers weren't what some of you want but it's what he got done with those numbers is whats most important.

I have doubts with Collaros when we traded for him. Mainly because of his health and not of his ability. But man, Im really happy for him. What a feeling to get a win on his first start after a long while.

Doug Brown said "that was a lot of effort for two points." Those two points are looking really good right now. Yeah, the Stamps get away with being AAF, because most of the time no one makes them pay. It just needs to happen more often. We are 2 - 1 against Calgary, with the one loss only by 4 points. I am going to bet that is one prediction none of us made.

Watch the hit on Collaros on the first drive. He shovels the ball when he’s scrambling, one Calgary DL is pulling him down from behind and Jabar Westerman comes from his left and ear holes him with his face mask. That’s an easy RTP call. It’s the 2nd down play before the punt.

Just watched the game now on PVR..... blatant misses by the ref on Zach and on Grant on the return. WTF are they smoking? Zach is better then Nichols (escapability in the pocket and accuracy on the mid range throws) but the scrambled brains is definitely something i'd be afraid to commit to. Need a new d-coordinator that can execute a defense if pressure is not being obtained and a new o-coordinator who can push the ball. Also how come the o-line looks so much weaker the moment Neufeld came back?

Like i said during the game, MOS still needs to throw that flag automatically right after the no call to send a message he has QB's back. I could care less if the challenge didn't work. I like MOS but him and his handlers have consistently struggled in using the challenge flag throughout the season for the most part. They way over think when to use it. Look how they finally used it this game, weird. And I wish right after that shoulder to head hit on ZC there was more of a response from his teammates on the field i.e. getting in the grill of the ****** bag in red who did it.

Oshea mentioned in the post game that the refs told him the commander centre was looking at the head shot to Collaros. (And they still missed it!!!) So would have been a wasted challenge.

What an exciting game start to finish. Few things of note, thought the Dline had a bit more pressure this game. Bailey and Lawler just keep producing. Adams made a nice play to break up an under thrown ball. Not to crap on Collaros, but wtf was he seeing on the Int? 4 stamps around Adams....bad decision on an otherwise solid night. Calgary showed who they were again last night, Bo taunting the bomber bench, telling fans in the front row they wasted their money. And cant forget about Dicki getting into the ears of the refs every opportunity he got. I am glad I wasn't in the endzone section during rogers celebration, cause I probably would have been kicked out. There would have been beers and spit heading in his direction.

And BLM also threw some that should have been picked. I thought a key point in the game was making the Stamps pay for punting out of their own end zone.

Speaking of away games. Why don’t go away and play your games some place else?

Great to see that game by Collaros, happy for him. For people complaining about his 221 passing yards being so low, the Bombers had the same yards per pass as the Stampeders, 8.1. The Stampeders just threw the ball 14 more times than the Bombers. O'Shea sure wasted his challenge. He could have challenged that non-catch near the end of the first half or hung onto it for something that might have been real in the last three minutes (when he could still have used it). The pressure the Bombers don't get on the QB is scary. Happy you guys got the win tonight.

I like the way Collaros played but there’s no doubt that Streveler brings a valuable element to the offence that’s essential, even if it’s not in a starting role.

Is Collaros worth the first round pick to keep him around though? I know people are ready to move on from Nichols but I'm not. A new OC might make our offence dangerous with Nichols at the helm. Just my .02

I don't want to take anything away from ZC and this win. Well deserved and it was nice watching him do everything it took for the win. But 221 yards and 10 rushing is the same amount of yards Strev and Nichols have been putting up. He did it all in the air though. I still really think Lapo doesnt have what it takes to be a great OC. Hes good at the trick plays and misdirection but cant seem to call a complete game. Am I the only one who thinks this lol.

Big HH to the crowd too. Atmosphere was incredible and soo loud for a sparse turn out the rowdiest all year too
