Stupidity and privilege. His apology rings hollow, although I'm sure he's sorry it's come out. Singh's response and comments are the most thoughtful I have seen. JT's gotten very good at saying I'm sorry without seeming very sorry. Not sure why his party didn't boot him a long time ago. Oh, I know why, he's surrounded by his "people" who control the party.

Not one person tonight was prepared to look Coach O'Shea in the eye and tell him how to run the team! It was another great event. Coach was open and honest as much as he could. He shied away from saying who was playing this week, obviously. He addressed a question about what Matthews could tell the Montreal about our play calling. He showed video of Montreal and talked about preparing for them. He shared the stats on Montreal, like how often they call certain plays and when they call them. He talked about not believing that a player can't lose his position when they get hurt. He talked about the freedom the players have when they are on the road. And he guaranteed a win on Saturday. Well, not the last one.

a guy leaving for another has no real intel to give...all the teams., especially at this point in the season know your schemes, plays, tendancies..so it's nothing new to them The only thing they could expose is the verbage you call out for audibles..play calls, at the line, but generally teams change them each game anyway for the most part...the only real thing they have to offer is injury details..who may be knicked...what the injuries were for a guy coming back...

I get the allure of the principles of communism, the problem is it has never successfully been implemented. And most countries who try have always said .. yeah but what happened before wasn't TRUE communism, we will do it right, but nobody has. You may be able to successfully implement it in a society of 100 - 250 people, but at mass scale it does not work. In pretty much every instance the people with the best of intentions for the populace are either dead or in prison within the first few years. Then the fun happens. This book should be mandatory reading to understand the dangers and what has gone in in communist countries. https://www.amazon.ca/Gulag-Archipelago-Aleksandr-Solzhenitsyn/dp/1843430851/ref=sr_1_2?crid=309F29F30CCWZ&keywords=the+gulag+archipelago&qid=1568921052&s=gateway&sprefix=the+gulag+ar%2Caps%2C171&sr=8-2 What we have here in the West isn't perfect, but it has lasted longer and has spread more wealth and improved the quality of living of people at all levels of society far more then other then other structures. Is it perfect? No. Should we keep trying to make it better? Of course. But it doesn't mean the whole system should be thrown out.

First of all, Holodomor took place in the early 1930s. And it was a calculated move carried out by the Soviet Union under Stalin to combat an attempted independence movement in Ukraine at the time. It had far less do with communism itself and much more to do with Joseph Stalin being a power hungry, genocidal, totalitarian ideologue. I highly doubt the ancestors of those affected would feel inclined to split hairs over political ideology when it comes to discussing that genocide.

hell, the Bombers' last win in 1990 was without a 1000-yard receiver. Rick House was our leader with 883 yards, if statscrew.com is to be trusted. clicking around on statscrew, I see that James Murphy somehow got 1400 yards in 1988 ... man, that's some Stegall-level work considering the QBs we rolled out in 88.

Teams adjusted really quickly to PI and to roughing the passer... I actually think the game is better now And I like seeing catches and then big hits...!! Think the games are great this year Biggest challenge right now is the confusion with one year contracts, option years and how Williams-Lambert was allowed to go to NFL but come back to Riders while other teams don't seem to be able to do that... the backend is what needs some tuning up

LOL - nice spin on that one. It's pretty clear that any critics suggesting that Liberals are unqualified aren't saying this because of their race or gender, it's because they've been doing such a piss-poor job. Exhibit A - if you honestly think that Catherine McKenna has been doing a "good job" then you need to give your head a shake. Promoting "diversity" is great, but doing it purely to virtue signal to people is a mistake. Those appointed need to have at least some functioning brain matter. That video of a drunk McKenna admitting that the Liberals lie in Parliament, and just lie really loudly until it is accepted, should be all anyone needs to know about the Liberals. Did he though? Did he really do that? Or did he just approve refugees that had already been approved? oh pray tell, please tell us, why was she demoted again? Try and tell the truth on this one. I am all ears. Sorry, my eyes are hurting from rolling them so hard. Good grief, drop the sanctimony level down a peg or two, or you'll wind up like Justin, stuck in the web you have weaved. Trudeau's biggest weakness has always been that he just isn't that bright. While his blackface episodes are clearly insensitive (even racist under today's lens), I don't believe they were done with any malicious intent. There are a lot of people out there who will cross a line in order to have the "best" or most outrageous costume at a party - they just don't stumble their way upward into the PM's chair. I don't think he's a racist and if he is - he doesn't govern like one. His cabinet was the most diverse in the country's history (while Conservative critics suggested then that they were somehow unqualified just because they weren't white males) and he increased the number of Syrian refugees allowed into our country. They have accelerated clean water initiatives on reserves and have not walked away from treaty settlements ala Harper. He did not demote JWR because she was native and I have a very hard time believing that a native woman would ever be named to that post under a Conservative government in the first place.
