Too bad about Mo. He was a special player here during his time. Really a huge part of being one of those big time, classy players who helped change the culture of our football club from being one or the worst ran organizations to one of the best. Whether this is the end or not I want to congratulate Mo for an outstanding career in the Blue and Gold. He always had an absolute nose for the football. Can’t be said enough his impact for the Bombers over his tenure here in Winnipeg.

Not peer reviewed. From ESI's own website: "ESI continues its long-standing interest in climate change, although its focus has changed considerably. True to its dedication to evidence-based public policy, ESI analyzed the same paleoclimate records that formed the evidentiary basis of Vice President and Nobel Laureate Al Gore's award-winning documentary "Inconvenient Truth" and discovered that the relation between carbon dioxide and global warming is more nuanced than previously thought. The results of this analysis are currently being peer-reviewed for publication and will be posted on this site following publication. If confirmed, ESI's scientific findings will help point the way to a different, more adaptive, and more cost-efficient environmental policy response to climate change." As for the second, you validate him by saying he's retired NOAA. Hmm what's the first thing you read when you go on NOAA's climate change impacts website? "Impacts from climate change are happening now." https://www.noaa.gov/resource-collections/climate-change-impacts You can't have it both ways. You also can't cherry-pick the findings of one retired NOAA staffer when over 6000 current NOAA scientists and engineers are not in agreement. Yes, scientific dissent is important because it makes research better. This is little more than sowing seeds of doubt for the sake of it. Oh - and this is Rex Fleming (this "respected scientist" has 13 twitter followers):

And now, back to football.. It’ll be nice to see J.J. rotating back in there..
  6. 4 points
well he is in phenomenal shape..maybe this is a bit of a blessing if his knee injury isn't nothing major...allow him to totally heal up from the Achilles thing...train hard and come back next year to camp and give it one last kick...If anyone can do it certainly he can, and many others have been very productive into their mid/late 30's on defense..Cox..Hebert..Bowman..to name a few recent ones...I wouldn't write him off yet....from someone who came back from 2 major surgeries as a player..I can tell you sometimes even though medically cleared it often takes almost another year to "fully" get back to where/what you were before injury His first few games back he looked really good...but I think he got knicked or re-aggrevated something as his last few he tapered off...32 next year isn't old man status yet in this day and age, so I hope we sign him to a 1 yr deal...test him out and if he doesn't have it...no damage...just release him and add him to coaching staff...He's a guy you wanna keep in your organization. I wouldn't be opposed either if we can work the ratio to putting him back in at safety if signing Loffler is going to take too much scratch to resign..Moe was a beast back there if you all forgot

Well you'd think if you're part of the team you'd want to be part of the team. Guys like Leggett and Wild have stayed through injury and taken on some leadership roles.

Still pisces me off Nichols was in a coma and we gifted 2 wins to that shitty team. Could have been 6-0 since then and the Riders 4-4. That would make sense. Honestly given the recent play there a team more "on" than the bombers? Hope the bye didn't mess up their mojo.

There is definitely a sort of pre-millennial post-Gen X generation that gets unduly rolled in with others. 80-85ish births are unique in having an analog youth and digital adolesence and adulthood. Pioneers in a lot of ways. We might be the last generation to play outdoors, Pokemon Go notwithstanding
