Not from Durant of course, Pederson didnt lay a glove on him, getting at the truth wasnt the purpose of the interview, but how Durant used a Rider PR and media tool to get his spin out. If you didnt know or realize what Pederson actually is and what he represents in relation to CFL "journalism" you do now. As for Durant... when reporters virtue signal with "heartless" managment decisions I want Durant cited as a counter balance. It'll never happen I know.

The 2nd goal was all on Ellis... he stopped skating and allowed Stastny to get the puck and take two shots without doing a thing.

It's actually pretty shameful what Durant did and I would say that about him no matter what team he did this to. To have such a great career end with such a smudge to his character isn't a good look on the CFL as a whole. If he wants to go out looking like a slime ball then that's his choice, but I legitimately thought he respected the CFL. It's clear he doesn't and to me that's quite sad.

Gameplan: Quarantine Tuch and Marchessault, park Stastny and Lowry in front of Fleury, have Buff do his thing, more breathing room for Connor to play his game; Laine and Shief find their sweet spot on the ice, Helle positioning picture perfect = we win. Easy smeezy.

Durant is a classless piece of ****. Guy talks in his media release about his new kid, should realize he's setting a poor example for the kid, unless his goal is to raise a ****** like him. I hope the club sues him and wins the money back and holds his rights in perpetuity just so he can't sign a 1 day deal to retire a Rider.

Jeff Hamilton on the radio said that the Blue still have not spoke with Durant yet and that the club is very upset at the situation. From the sounds of it they will fight for the bonus money. I will assume that Durant will never show his face up North again after torpedoing whatever reputation the guy had left.

I don't think Rinne played as bad as is being said. The first goal was a brilliant shot, with a bit of luck thrown in. he had it blocked except for a puck sized opening, which it went through. Stastny goal was a great play by him, took a shot, got his own rebound and lifted it up and in. outstanding play by him. It's still a little hard for people to see how good the Jets are. So it must be a screw up by the other team, not a good play by the Jets. Even our own sports media don't quite get it. I Remember what Hitch said a while ago, after the Jets beat Dallas. "They come at you like a pack of wolves"

I think that most of us in Minnesota are behind you guys 110 % after you beat us up, go Jets, pound Vegas!

Couple years ago, I would have agreed with your list of QBs... now I like our prospects better than any of them. Just a shame that the signing bonus for Durant likely influenced the Bombers' decision to pass on Muamba I'd be surprised if Sask doesn't make the Banjo Bowl 'Darian Durant' day this year
