  5. Not to many left from one of the greatest shows ever, Alda, Farrell, Burghhoff and Farr

  12. Pre season... I'd bet they cancel. No TV obligations makes it a lot easier. Has there been anything from the league online about this?
  13. Yeah. I wonder if they’d play it really late if it improves at night, or tomorrow or if they’d cancel.

All preseason games will have been played by tonight (Friday). Final cutdown day is Saturday (May 31), and a whole new season kicks off on Thursday. Been a long winter and glad football is back. Lets F'n go! Pick 'Ems are back this year. How do they work? Each week you pick the winners for all CFL games (including playoffs). You get one point for every correct pick. Whoever has the most points at the end of the year wins a $50 gift certificate at the Bomber store. Picks will be done through the polling system. Polls close at game start of the first game of the week. I will accept picks for games that have not started yet through PMs if you are late getting them in. Picks this week need to be in by 8PM Thursday, June 5th If you want an idea of what it takes to win it all, and who your competition might be, here is list of the top winners over the last decade. Quite a few recurring names in there.

  22. It's not looking good
  23. Interesting... That's really shitty about the smoke. Man the prairies are just burning to the ground.
  24. Will they play? Smoke warning: https://weather.gc.ca/airquality/pages/skaq-001_e.html
  25. Cobb is dressing, I can't see Corcoron beating him out, they went out and got him for his versatility, he can play receiver as well as help out on returns. Probably best Corcoron can hope for is beating out Gassama for a PR spot.

  27. If Bighill and the family like Winnipeg and he has a great job here, why leave?
  28. So Demski/Schoen/Clercius are locks. Reggie White Jr seems close in terms of locking down the 4th spot. Corcoron likely makes the initial roster as depth (if Cobb is still hurt). So that leaves a ton of guys for what 1-2 roster spots and maybe 3 on the PR?
  29. He's one of the Ride for Dads celebrity captions. I am sure he would have more opportunities in Winnipeg to make money than he would back in the US. Most ex- Bombers that have stayed in Winnipeg have had successfull post playing careers.

  31. It's Peyton Logan's job once he's back from injury. But Vaval might run with it.
  32. Return game is another reason that D. Mitchell may get the nod. He's no Janarion Grant, but he is miles better than his M. Mitchell.
  33. Like $700 per week. The decision on receivers has to be who fits the offense best mostly meaning who works best with the QB's. Kind of in a bind if our returner isn't an offensive player so it would be nice if a guy like Stearns saw that as a path to make the team and refused to take no for an answer on getting reps on punts.
  34. We've already paid a lot of his salary. What's left owing is basically minimum contract or even slighty less. At this point his salary is a non factor.
