Getting rid of that cheap bastard Braley was a huge start. He's grinding the Lions down now. He was a good owner in the 80's & 90's when the league was smaller than it is now. But he's a dinosaur.

It's called acting. Trying to impress his coaches & teammates that as a kicker he's also a football player. He's a kicker. Noel Prefontaine was a football player. He'd have played linebacker if they'd have asked him.

Funny, did anyone notice Medlock being willingly shuffled out of bounds on the Banks return?  He didn't sign up for the bodily contact bits.

Medlock & Hajrullahu are the least athletic kickers out there & both don't like the contact. They aren't paid to tackle though.

Milo is too busy pointing to the sky. He'd be up there pointing & they'd run right by him. God is good. God is great except when he misses.

It's really sad that a city the size of Toronto can only put 12-13 k into the stands there is absolutely no excuse for that, unfortunately the CFL has not been perceived to being big time for many years and it looks like they have lost generations of fans

Toronto fans get to listen to some of the best commentary in the sports world with the Blue Jays and even the Raptors. Then Rod Black shows up and whoa!

Maher and Ty Crapigna aren't exactly the 2nd comings of Mickey Doyle. I remember Troy Westwood engaging TD returners by running parallel to them; basically trying to gauge how close to returner speed he was.

Most kickers will just fall down if touched by a blocker. They don't like getting hit or contact. If you want to see how badly a kicker can be check out Garo Ypremian of the Miami Dolphins when they played the Washington Redskins (Super Bowl IV or V?) & he tried to kick  a FG late in the game. Everything that could go wrong, did. There are some Dolphins veteran players who to this day are still livid with Ypremian for his lame attempt at tackling the Redskin player returning the fumble for Washington & have no respect for him. Google it on You Tube, It's pretty funny if you've never seen it.

Ah, figured I'd post the video. After Ypremian's cough, cough... throw checck out his effort to make the tackle. Players will forgive a player when a mistake as long as they're trying. Watch how Ypremian refuses to even touch the Redskins player. That is what upset his teammates. He got scared & gave up on thr player. One of the Dolphins today after 44 years still calls Ypremian "gutless".

Ypremian is a bad example. The fried skunk in his gut weighed more than his entire muscle structure. The guy was barely a soccer player. On an NFL field he was basically a terrified rabbit.

Bernie "Toker the Joker" Ruoff was another guy who veered off on returns. Little 5'5" Trevor Kennard actually tried to make a few tackles during his tenure with the blue. Gene Lakusiak was a Canadian DB who also kicked field goals for the bombers in the late 60s, early 70s - only problem with Mean Gene is he was a 32% accurate FG kicker. (in those days CFL teams didn't have the flexibility to bring in American kickers)

They will have to hold the Grey Cup in Toronto every year just to keep the Argos alive.  Or just alternate between Toronto and Vancouver.  If the Lions make it again in again to the Grey Cup when the game is in Vancouver it will be fun to see all of the fake fans show up like they did in 2011.  What a joke.

Lakusiak was the worst kicker I ever saw. But at least he made up for it by playing defensive back & playing well. He wasn't afraid to make a tackle. He was afraid to kick FG's because he was so bad.

No, they don't love him....vast majority of Blue Jays fans despise the broadcast tandem of Buck Martinez and Pat Tabler. Universally known as the worst in the majors. Thank CHRIST and everything holy they've got Dan Schulman doing some games this year...it's saving a complete **** show.
