side note ... where the hell did Malkin come from?

Evgeni Malkin was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2004 but didn't appear in the NHL until 2006.  He is originally from Mangitogorsk, Russia which is part of the former Soviet Union.

He scored 50 goals in 2011-12 and has almost 500 career goals.  He has been quite the scorer in the NHL for some time, I'm surprised you didn't notice. The Jets would do well to trade for him.

  • This really pisses me off.  Teams like the Blues, Habs, and Bruins all hit a slight speed bump and they have no hesitation whatsoever in replacing the coach.  The Jets suck year-in and year-out and th

  • Where did Bill get $395 million?!?

  • What an idiot.  I have no patience for things like that.  Should be zero tolerance, 100-game ban for first offence, lifetime for second.  That's not an accident, that's not something that just happens

He is.  He just happened to put his suite in the middle of the press box ... probably because it is a better view for him, and it allows him to sell one more box if he doesn't use up one of the "normal" ones.

He has both.  He often lends out the standard suite to major sponsors of the Jets so they can schmooze their clients.

The True North suit is just off centre due to camera station.  The MTS suite is exactly the same on the side of the camera station.

With Laine out, there is enough room to bring Comrie up and start him in the LA game. Leave Hutch at home for the trip. Comrie doesn't need to clear waivers when sent back down. If he falters, Helle comes in as backup.

maybe the Oilers would interested in dealing Poolparty for a Stafford + draft picks?  It'd be dynamite to see Laine and Poolparty reunited again.  Just need to get Aho and you'd have the Flying Finn line.

NHL 2016 Draft hit hit miss miss

Lol. Both Puljujarvi and Dubois will be good players but need time

Probably but the top 4 were all seen as making their teams this year.

Not really. Only Matthews and Laine were.  Puljujarvi did make the Oilers. Dubois sent back to Jr.

Ridiculous to say they are misses... they are 18

They're projecting PoolParty's arc to be similar to Draisitl. Just have to be patient...time in the A will be good for Pool.

yeah it would be nice if they would send him to Kelowna like they did with Draisaitl.  Speaking of the Rockets, I hope that the Jets are looking at this guy closely:
