They are like anything else, need to be taken in context and not solely relied on. 

As long as they are used as a piece of a larger puzzle, don't think there is anything wrong with them.

Not a big fan of them myself.

Fancy stats say that Thorburn, Burmi, Stafford, Tanev and Chiarot are our worst players... so they're not totally off.

13 games this month....anyone want to take a crack at how many points the Jets get?

I think they need to win 8 or 9 to be in a playoff hunt. I see them winning 6 or 7 at best.

I'll say 12 points maybe 13 if lucky.

this is impossible. No one wants him. He's useless. Should have been sent down ages ago.  Will easily clear waivers.

2 tours with the Jets didn't live up to his 1st round selection change of scene may do him good probably just winds up in the KHL next year.

This illustrates why you don't waive players without significant thought to losing them. Half the team would have been waived according to some here. 

Why you have your shite in a know about losing Burmi?....it is a bonus to the team to lose him and not have to pay him 1.55m on the farm...I am glad he is gone.

Maurice says that he and Burmi differed on what his role on the team should be. Maurice said Burmi is right that he didn't give him the time with players he wanted to play with but why should he have? His play didn't warrant it. I would be surprised if he is still in the league next year.
