The salary cap is going to be very interesting as some teams close to the cap may have to discard a player that your talking about.

Find another Perreault.  

It could force some other moves too as the Jets will be a bit log jammed in the bottom six. And they don't like to carry anywhere near the maximum contracts. 

Although they will likely be forecasting Pavs and Stafford off the roster at the end of next season at the latest.

No doubt Pavelec is gone after next season maybe before if they can give him away for a pick, Stafford will probably be a deadline trade. Maybe a cap casualty would improve our 4th line or maybe help 3rd pairing d. Currently at 43 contracts so we have some wiggle room.

Helm for 2-3 years would be okay if they moved Staf........and ya, I know Helm is a center.

They've already exoerimented with Little at wing so they have options with moving him to the RW

Probably when they tried Perreault or Scheif at center.

Not saying they didn't, just saying I can't remember.

I believe it was the beginning of this season when they were trying different things.  Maybe even pre-season.  Little prefers to play centre though.  But his best season was as a RW.
