The Bombers liked what they saw in Bass but under then-defensive coordinator Gary Etcheverry’s system couldn’t make a fit.
March 21, 20169 yr comment_189397 The fact that an Etcheverry scheme couldn't fit a player like Bass in says a lot about Etch. Then again ... how did Ottawa, Saskatchewan and Edmonton all pass on this guy too?
March 21, 20169 yr comment_189400 WOW...one word for Bass...'perseverance' ...Just goes to prove if you want something bad enough...it'll happen...Good lesson for aspiring players..AND can we please block the fact that Etch. ever coached here..or Bellefool ...nightmarish is a word to describe their time here.
