Let's not get ahead of ourselves. We have beat 2 very bad teams. Colorado isn't as good as their record. Vancouver was icing an ahl team. 

Won't be surprised if we beat Calgary either. 

So PaMa wants to showcase 55/8 down the stretch. They're also our RFA's.

 

They are looking hard at everyone not just those two....they are seeing how those two respond to extra ice time.

Kosmo and Lipon and the other Moose players are being evaluated to see if they are keepers or not.

I like both Kosmo and Lipon and would be OK if they made our 4th line in the next year or so.

Would need to peal off 7 in a row AFTER this game to be in the wild card race and that's assuming the 2 teams lose their next 7.

Calgary scored 3 in a row in the first. 9 shots. 3 goals. Pavelec was awful lol. 

Dano, Matty P and Burmi had another good night , Lipon seems destined to be a call up type player, Pavs is just bad how he has stayed in the league is beyond me.  Really only game they need to win is against Chicago and then lose the rest. It really is tough watching them lose though

Play Pavs every game and that alone will give us 2nd place because there is no way any team is going to out-tank TO.

Get the Schwheehlers line back together as soon as Ehlers' eye heals.

When Armia comes back, play him with Perreault and Dano (good game tonight).

Edmonton has played 4 more games than Toronto. It's looking likely that the Oilers will be last overall soon. But won't win the lottery 

I think they should build in a "suck clause" where you can't get the top pick (or top 2...3?) more than X amount of times in a specific time period.  There should be consequences for being terrible at managing your team and those consequences should not be back-dooring into assembling a ton of talent.

I would assume that the NHL will make sure the Oilers don't win the draft again. Yeah, i know but... I think they will do everything in their power and they have a ton to make sure Edmonton doesn't get the 1st overall pick.

If you are implying that they rig the draw....I doubt it.

They won't, they will just make sure Edmonton doesn't win it. It won't happen. 

Maybe they'll change the rules like the 80's Coincidental minors/tanks and no one goes to box/draft table.

Maybe they need a form of sliding scale of suckyness so the same team doesn't cash in every year like Edmonton.  

Before the Habs of the late fifties, when you got a penalty, including a minor, you stayed in the the box no matter how many PP goals were scored. The Habs were so dominant back then that changed the rule that the player leaves the penalty after a PP goal is scored if it is a minor penalty.
