March 31, 20178 yr comment_256413 I believe poolman copp Kostalek and Lodge were also aquired via trading a 2nd rounder (oduya to Chicago trade) to Washington for those picks

Strait and Melchiori are traffic cones I agree Melch and Strait are pretty bad but at least they hit people and take the puck away. I just can't watch another season of Toby handing the puck to the opposition in the corner and bailing to avoid a hit, or standing in front of the net doing nothing because he's too small. I just can't do it!!!! I need to get some kind of technology that blacks out Toby whenever he is on the screen so I don't have to watch him and feel so much shame.
March 31, 20178 yr comment_256461 Melchiori is a big body and positionally sound but pretty hopeless with the puck. I don't mind him as a #7/#8 defenceman, maybe the kind of guy you keep on a 2-way deal and have him as the first call-up from the Moose.

I can't recall him playing there with the Jets but maybe in Buffalo? I would give it a go. Production would go down, as he would have to stay at home, hedging for Buff.

"As fans know Poolman underwent shoulder surgery this past Friday and does require another surgery on his other shoulder which he expected to happen a few weeks following the first one depending on how his body reacts. He indicated that recovery time is anywhere from four to six months. "

April 2, 20178 yr comment_256751 I knew that, it was reported .... Might have been H&L. Could be ready for next season if all goes well. 4 months is August. 6 month is October.
April 2, 20178 yr comment_256753 Might not be ready for main camp but with no complications should be good to start his career with the Moose, hopefully he does well adjusting to the pro game.

April 3, 20178 yr comment_256798 Connor and Roslo called up together. Who sits? I don't see anyone being sent down? Is there room on the roster? Who sits? Thorbs? Tanev? Petan? Is someone hurt?
April 3, 20178 yr comment_256813 I think the logical move it benching Wheeler. Move Thorburn to first line. Connor - Petan - Roslovic as the 4th line. - Maurice, probably.
April 3, 20178 yr comment_256814 Maybe Laine in the doghouse. Heck even Ehlers not pass him puck for open net

It was originally only the one shoulder but then he hurt the other at the end of the season. He's had the surgery on one shoulder (the second one injured) and, as stated, will have the other shoulder done soon.
