February 13, 20169 yr comment_183241 Still weird that Maurice split up Ehlers-Scheif-Perrault and Trouba-Buff... don't get it

February 14, 20169 yr comment_183261 Nice road win despite the crappy shorty goal by the Oilers. Pavs looks like he's picked up where he left off late last season.
February 14, 20169 yr comment_183264 Woo. Jets barely beat the worst team in the league. Pav was ok. Oilers maybe had 5 quality shots on goal. Listening to the announcers verbally jets off McDavid all night was annoying and him being stopped to lose the game was pretty nice. Cbc announcers were almost crying. February 14, 20169 yr comment_183279 I haven't seen Stuart on the PK as much as usual...is this why the PK seems to have improved?

February 14, 20169 yr comment_183282 No. It's never just 1 guy and stu did have pk time. They are just more aggressive. They played a passive box b4... now they play a more aggressive one.
February 14, 20169 yr comment_183303 That's a lot less than he used to get..........the less the better. Ship him out with Ladd.
February 14, 20169 yr comment_183323 Trouba can't seem to stay on his feet lately ... not really making a point just an observation.

February 14, 20169 yr comment_183332 I almost started a thread on Trouba a couple of hours ago. I'm okay with giving him a two year bridge and seeing how he turns out. He doesn't hold a lot of leverage. Two year bridge for 3.75m and 4.25m. Same for Scheifele and then 1.9m and 2.1m for Lowry, 900k for Hutch and 2m per year for two years for Armia.
February 14, 20169 yr comment_183336 Armia is a keeper. Don't get all this criticism for the guy. Too high expectations for him at this point. Edited February 15, 20169 yr by Blueballz
February 15, 20169 yr comment_183346 Armia is one of the brightest (potential) of the young ones IMO. He is big, fast and has a sick pair of hands. Just needs some seasoning. In a year or two we can laugh at Buffalo for sending him to us as a throw in for Kane ... Edited February 15, 20169 yr by IC Khari
February 15, 20169 yr comment_183347 Armia is playing like you'd expect a mid 1st rounder. He has skill and if you watch, you can see his potential. Just because he isn't lighting it up now does not mean he isn't good or won't be good. Good thing some posters on here aren't talent scouts.
