Bomber run game no-existent... Nichols looking shaky in 1st half again.... 27 yds of O in first quarter..... BC drives 75 yds for another TD..with ease.... Arcenaux doing whatever he wants against Blue secondary... ....especially Demond Washington.... ...who had an totally embarrassing half of football, all round... Jennings looked like a HOF quarterback.... ..completing 15 of first 16 throws.....with all kinds of time Bomber D essentially spent first half in..... Also Ran Mode. 23-9 BC at the half....they have 300 yds passing... Intermission: DOD dials up the gin.. 2nd half: Hall dials up the pressure.... Jennings looks more like rookie quarterback Bombers get punt block from Sherman - TD for Wild. 23-16....Adams gets pick and long return... Castillo hits 4th FG... in 4 attempts.....25-19 BC Bomber O cannot stretch the field.... ...or run up the gut on 2nd and 2 or 3 or 4...... 6 min left: Blue throw 2.7 yd pass on 2nd and 4 Brohm stuffed on 3rd and over a yard sneak. BC gets clinching 60 yd pass play... ...but Bombers saved by the call ( holding) 4 min left...Blue run SECOND fake punt on 3rd and 10 ...and get first down on direct snap to Briggs... Special teams in playoff mode, anyways..... 3rd down gamble from BC 16..... Stoudermire "runs into" two BC defenders... ..freeing up Denmark for TD pass from Nichols Only TD of game from Bomber O...but huge Castillo hits his 2nd convert - tie game 26-26 Nice KO by Castillo puts Lions in a hole..... Bombers get ball back at the 46, with minute and half left.. Big second effort run by Marshall... gets them into range Castillo comes in for 40 yd game winning attempt.... Hits it! But MOS had called the time out!..requiring yet more gin 2nd attempt - the Captain from Castillo is true.... Improbable win, with the rook kicker going 5 for 5. Bombers outscore BC 20-3 in half...for rare comeback.. Shoe on other foot...Lions missed two converts... Turnovers and Special teams get this done... Ugly wins are better than moral victories... Empty bottles are better than full ones....

Goossen is ready to start. Didn't miss a beat with him in there. His snaps didn't float either like Picard's.

October 11, 20159 yr comment_160075 Finally seeing the Ritchie Hall defence but unfortunately it's been just here and there. It seems like it only comes out in the 2nd half. But still a hell of a lot better than our offence. The defence plays with passion but the offence seems to be depressed. It's too bad cause I think we're not too far from being a decent team.

I was just texting my buddy (who is a lions fan), that I was committed to watching this whole thing come off the rails - and then the blocked punt and Wild's TD return happened. I could also swear I saw a shot of Osh yelling something angrily on the sideline - looked good on him actually. He should yell his way to three more wins.

Nichols came off the field shaking his head a few times after they stuffed the run. MB needs to go. Running up the gut is not working. Nun it outside or throw over the middle.

Goossen is ready to start. Didn't miss a beat with him in there. His snaps didn't float either like Picard's. Actually - I have to disagree a bit with you on that one g-bill. We did miss a beat - a big beat - as in Picards' standard roughing call he always gets (like in first half), a sure hold he would have done on Denmark's TD, and I'm sure he'd have had a few 'blown' assignments where Nichols would have been blown up. Not saying I don't mind missing those beats though Overall - what a second half. Tracker opined in the chat if the bombers had ever come back before to win a game (this year) well we know now. I wrote the team off in the first half but glad I stuck with it in the second half. Oh - Castillo for Mayor - did extremely well and didn't seem to mind the long converts at all (only had to kick two of them though but was money both times)
