It's not even a debatable thing...it's really really bad. And that's with God-only-knows how much studio work to try and auto-tune it back to normal. Heard him do it live at a Johnny Reid show one time....I remember thinking "yyyyyyyikes...." and then the song comes down the pipe at work and I just let out a sigh. Good on him for trying...and I'm sure he'll have his fans.......but yikes, those vocals.....

Pretty much sounds like every other country song ever.

That's a pretty low bar. New country music is terrible. That's not just my opinion, it's a scientific fact.
