If he starts and sucks, how short will the leash be? Does an unprepared Nichols give is a better shot than a "prepared" Brohm?

If Marve's injury is more than just 1 game then the Nichols trade makes even more sense for us.

I understand why with Nichols having little time in the offense.  But Brohm has to be on a very short leash.  If he is bouncing balls into the turf again, he has to be pulled.

Maybe Nichols doesn't start but good lord, give him two series to watch from the sidelines and throw him in there. Brohm is ****ing horrible.

How sad is it that I and I assume many of us would rather start a QB who joined us on a Wednesday for a Sunday game than Brohm?

I'm not as scared of this as I first thought. Could be the aftereffects of the Nichols news.

How different is Edmonton's offense, compared to ours? 

Honestly this could be a good thing.... give Brohm one last shot to prove to all of us he's not a completely useless, piece-of-****, excuse for a QB... and when he proves us all right after one quarter, the team will have no excuse to not release him...

Lirim was probably our best player last week... he was booming em'!!

 

Given MB's bland offence, I think they could give Nichols a small playbook to work with... you know, like they've done with Marve, Brohm...... dumbed down is just how Bellefeuille rolls!

I'm pretty happy to hear Adams is back.

A lot. Just the terminology alone would make it impossible for him to start this week. Even starting the LDC on anything more than a skeleton playbook will be highly optimistic. He needs reps with the first team offence, and some deep immersion in the playbook. He will not have anywhere close to the full offence at his command within the next 3 weeks.

It is laughable to think he could play this weekend unless we go sandlot and reduce our passing playbook to a few plays. There is zero chance he would have half the playbook at his command by this weekend.

Might be possible with our stickman offensive playbook......

Honestly start Brohm. If he struggles go to Davis and then release Brohm after the game. I'd tell brohm this is his last chance to prove he can be a QB in this league. He hadn't started this year yet so...
