BC Lions just tweeted that Solomon Elimimian has a torn achilles tendon & has been put on the 6 game injured list. Who are they kidding? He's gone for the rest of the season now. Huge loss for them.

I thought so too ISO but guess not. I guess the 6 game is just in name only really. 

That and once their 6 games is up, they likely just extend their position.

 

Sucks to hear what happened to Elimimian though. Hoping for a quick recovery. There's no way he'll be back this season though.

The worst part is it happened in a game that was over b4 it started. Same thing with Willy last week,  the game was over really (not technically) but in your heart and brain you knew it was, Luckily Willy isn't gone all year... sucks for BC..

Lokombo or Hoffman-Ellis I suppose.  Or shift Bighill to MLB and put either Lokombo or H-E to weakside.  Didn't Bighill play MLB when Elimimian tried the NFL a couple years ago?

Bighill was dominant too at MLB when Solly was gone.

Nice to have someone like Bighill to fill in so the drop off from play @ MLB isn't as steep.

No doubt.  Also a shame that it couldn't have happened in November 2011 instead.  IF it's going to happen.

Interesting what little drop off when your replacement is Bighill. Imagine the tragedy if a Bombers were to lose an all star like Hurl? Heavens the drop off might be O'Shea coming out of retirement.

More accurately, the drop off is with the guy who replaces Bighill at WLB. Likely Alex Hofffman-Ellis who is pretty terrible.

Shame to lose one of the league's top players.  I don't think the loss will prevent the Lions from winning this week as BC Place has been a guaranteed loss for the Als for several seasons.  Must have something to do with moving 3 timezones. 

Definitely a shame.

He will never be the same. Likely over for him.
