Solomon Elimimian Torn Achilles Tendon

Featured Replies

BC Lions just tweeted that Solomon Elimimian has a torn achilles tendon & has been put on the 6 game injured list. Who are they kidding? He's gone for the rest of the season now. Huge loss for them.

Where would you like them to place him? The 6 game list is that in name only.

Is Durant 6 gamed?

Yes.

Okay, didn't know. Thought they had a list for players who were gone for the season.

The worst part is it happened in a game that was over b4 it started. Same thing with Willy last week,  the game was over really (not technically) but in your heart and brain you knew it was, Luckily Willy isn't gone all year... sucks for BC..

Otherwise known as 6 of one - half dozen of another.

Interesting what little drop off when your replacement is Bighill. Imagine the tragedy if a Bombers were to lose an all star like Hurl? Heavens the drop off might be O'Shea coming out of retirement.

More accurately, the drop off is with the guy who replaces Bighill at WLB. Likely Alex Hofffman-Ellis who is pretty terrible.

Shame to lose one of the league's top players.  I don't think the loss will prevent the Lions from winning this week as BC Place has been a guaranteed loss for the Als for several seasons.  Must have something to do with moving 3 timezones.
