Blue #Bombers have released kicker Justin Palardy and wide receiver Isaac Anderson, and added K/P Brody McKnight to the practice roster.

 

 

 

No surprise there with the new additions.

Man this kicker situation moved quick.  I always thought Burke liked Anderson a lot, maybe that changed after he sucked in his game time.

Doesn't surprise me that Burke would like Anderson, he seems to be a fan of all of our terrible offensive players.

I'm still surprised by Palardy, though I know I shouldn't be.

Palardy's fallen out of favor... his sucking this year and subsequent release leaves us with no apparent plan for the future at K.

 

It would be prudent to take this approach with Buck Pierce, Denmark, Poblah, Cauchy Muamba, and our entire O-Line...

I thought Anderson looked really good last year, but that sure didn't carry over to this season.

Didnt Palardy set a franchise record for field goal percentage last season?  How quickly things can change.

Yeah if you had told me a month ago that Palardy would soon be gone I would have been been surprised.  But the short kickoffs were killer and the fact they didn't even try field goals from outside 45 I guess says a lot. 

And someone needs to tell me that the guy that replace Palardy has been better at kickoffs? A 32 yr old with a poor kickoff yard age is now the future?

Did anyone say he was the future?  He's the present.  Big difference between the present and the future.

Really confused about cutting Palardy so soon... D'Angelis wasn't exactly stunning in his debut and McKnight is totally unproven.

man, you got a lot more patience then I my friend.. his schtick wore thru after week 2..
