Why do people still insist firing Berry was a mistake. He had lost the room. This was well known at the time. When that happens the only option is to fire the coach.

Teams don't need an out-of-control coach raging on the sidelines losing all common sense at key points in the game ie) see Berry pulling out challenge flag to challenge a challenge lol.

There is a reason he is no longer working in the league folks and was never hired to be a head coach again.

Berry may not have been on his players' Christmas card lists, but he was the last winning coach we had, and he didn't have an All-star quarterback, either. This has come up here before, but there are a lot of winning coaches in many sports who were not beloved by their players- Tom Landry, and Scotty Bowman to name a couple. And we've had a couple of coaches who were well-liked by their players but disasters on the scoreboard.

Kevin Glenn was a finalist for MOP and Eastern All-Star in 2007. Berry was the last winning head coach but his record here was 1 game over .500

No one has ever accused Glenn of being an all-star, and one game over .500 would look pretty good these days.

Well, we could always trying winning a couple of games.....

All right. How did you manage to type that when you are obviously completely hammered on gin yet again?

Berry was also a raging, unstable, psychopath.

Who took us to the playoffs three years straight. We haven't been the same team since firing him.

Agree 100%. Besides, I prefer to think of him as "passionate".   ;)

7-11 last year if we are lucky 6-12 this year yea the anti MoS we just aren't patient enough, he just needs more time to find another good OC and special teams coach. Hopefully they fall in his lap cause he sure as hell can't pick em. People were calling Popp a circus well guess what circus is gonna make the playoffs over our clowns?
