Why do you feel that the coaches don't like JFG?  My impression is that O'Shea loves him and I believe JFG is slated to start this week.

JGF seems to produce during the game and make clutch catches yet they rarely gave him a chance to start and shine... he is Stoddard.... 2.0

Oh come on. Stoddard had a ton of starters minutes.. He was just too slow to use em. Great possession guy and knew where to go to get the 1st but to suggest he was never on the field is asinine..

Last year he was behind Watson, because Watson is a better blocker. I believe JFG is penciled in as a starter this season.

I hope we're not starting 8 NIs just to prove a point.

Watson's also a better receiver.  JFG's better on special teams though.

I like what JFG brings to our team, but he is a fringe NI receiver. I hope he takes the next step forward this year.

I think JFG showed flashes of star power with his clutch catches last year and his everyday performance at training camp this year. I have high expectations for him this season. 600+ yards, 5+ TDs. Still not blowing the roof off, but enough to prove that he's a legitimate starting NI receiver.

JFG following the career path of Chris Getzlaf thus far - let's see if he makes the next step.

There are things that I have seen from JFG in the practices I've watched, that suggest to me he's going to be more involved in the offense on a regular basis. He's one of the finest route runners on the team IMO.

I really like JFG and can see why Mike O is so high on the guy...Tough as nails and is willing to take any and everything the opposition throws at him...Hands it out pretty good as well...This is the kind of guy I luv to have on the field...star in the making for sure..

Haven't seen the depth chart yet, but Penton tweeting that Shell takes Unamba's spot on the roster for tomorrow......hmmm....

Maybe Rory Kohlert and JF Gudino didn't come through the front door like many other NI receivers in the league, but if there's one thing I know, if you involve them in the game plan, the team will be rewarded.
