  • Also people seriously saying that the FIFA WOMEN'S WORLD CUP be held at the Soccer Complex?   You might not be a fan but don't be so closed minded..

I don't know how many of the anti-socer people watched the last Olympics but the Canadian women were phenomenal. They play a very tough, physical brand and did this country proud . It's training camp

  • So TC isn't at IGF. It's 50 feet away from IGF. Unless I'm missing something and it's closed to the public, what's the big deal? Bring a lawn chair. Chill. It should be all good no? Is it closed to th

Wow.....so....where exactly is it being held? Is there even a place to sit and watch??

It is right beside IGF pretty much but no there is not really a place to sit and watch.  This is really disappointing for me.

Is TC seriously not being held at IG field?? This is a massive disappointment....

The woman's FIFA tournament is taking over IGF.

Well that makes sense and is forgiveable... but still disappointing...

It's not the first time it's happened. I remember Rod's field being used Ritchie's first year although I can't remember why. At least they had some wooden stands to sit in there.

Ritchie's first year woulda been the '99 Pan Am Games, right?

I watched practice there a few times last year. The vantage point is pretty bad as you're on the same level as the players, but the Bombers did allow fans in to watch. This is disappointing though.

The last time they were there the fans could not get inside the chain link fence so you really could not see when they were at the end of the field. My son and I had planned to go and watch them but not too sure we will if we can not get inside the fence. I'm not sure why they decided that but they had a security guy to keep us out.

Kinda shocked we don't get to watch camp.. That the team didn't factor in that many would want to..

Maybe we need to make some noise and see if anything shakes loose..

Fwiw, WBB FC has since deleted their tweet to me, so here's hoping that they receive some serious backlash and make other arrangements...

Social media to the rescue! I'd imagine if enough email, tweets and phone calls hit the service lines they will figure out a way to make it work..
