Hopefully that agreement stipulates "achievements" and does not simply award games played.

Really hoping Drew Willy lives up to the promise and confidence that he's being shown here.

Hopefully MOS has the cojones to sit Willy if he falls short of expectations.

If it is an incentive-laden contract, that would be easier to do.

With the cap increase its probably the right value for a 28 year old starting QB.

I think that in all fairness, you should probably write a strongly worded letter to the the Chair of the Winnipeg Football Club.  In it, you can outline your concerns and include your extensive CV which will demonstrate just how informed your opinion is.  I'm confident that once they read the letter, they will give it the attention it deserves.

The contract being done now just shows the parties involved are aware of the necessities of getting this deal done now. And in pretty much the same vein, they will have structured this contract in a way that makes sense..for everybody. Well not everyTBbody, but those who can see it for what it's worth.

No horror show, nor distractions to be worried about all year.

What am I saying? Every time Willy has a bad throw, int. or gets sacked, I'm sure we'll hear about THAT bloody contract.

I am more concerned about the length of the contract I want a 3+ year contract.

I've agreed with most of the Bombers changes this year.  Only 2 that I disagree with so far...  Willy getting north of $400K and keeping MB as OC.  Your shtick seems to be remembering things that didn't happen then complaining about them.
