April 23, 201510 yr comment_116410 Pavs played well but that last one was a stinker. Buff had his best game in my opinion. Ducks just a better team.
April 23, 201510 yr comment_116411 Buff started hitting as the game progressed. He made one great defensive play. He directly cost one goal. Not good enough. Pavs was pavs. Miracle saves and softies.
April 23, 201510 yr comment_116412 Chevy's got his answer... the Thrashers core is just not good enough Next year What thrashers core tho? Wheeler Ladd and Buff were there for one season. Stuart was a beast tonight. Slater really and Thorburn aren't considered core players. The D was 95 percent Jets.
April 23, 201510 yr comment_116417 Maurice: "we have guys playing with broken bones" Ladds injury could have cost him two months had he chosen to have it looked at.
April 23, 201510 yr comment_116419 "We're a whole hell of a lot better than we were at this time last year"
April 23, 201510 yr comment_116420 Enstrom slater thorburn and maybe pav I'd consider thrashers guys but 2 aren't really a huge part of the team. The rest outside on Toby have played more games for the jets than thrashers. Little maybe but he was good

Little maybe but he was good  Buff and Ladd are still 'Thrasher/Jets' - Ladd was bumped to first line and Buff converted to D in Atlanta... Chevy's got a real decision to make with both of them  Little and Wheeler are locked in at decent prices... but you have to try and ditch Enstrom, he was really exposed in this series  These guys are good but not Perry, Getzlaf, Kesler good... not many of those guys around of course, even less with Winnipeg as a preferred destination

Between the rise of our talent base, quality coaching and GM coupled with our fanbase... Confident saying their won't be too many more bryzgslovs in the future.. At least I think that is who it was..
April 23, 201510 yr comment_116428 Â wonder where sweep leg is he predicted wild don't make it out of first round. I've been around. Stl 6 Min 1
April 23, 201510 yr comment_116432 Let's hope that's a blip. Go Wild. (Because I'm a fan) My pool dreams rest with Nashville and Detroit now.

Its a nice thought but Winnipeg is still Winnipeg. When it comes down to Winnipeg vs Tampa or Winnipeg vs NYR.... Players are still going to choose the alternative more often than not. Its just the way it is.
April 23, 201510 yr comment_116441 The "dont want to play in Winnipeg" thing doesnt bother me. There are people that want to play and dont want to play in every city for whatever reason. A big name free agent? Well, if you have 10-15 offers, it doesnt mean Winnipeg lost, it means 14 cities lost so who cares. When guys come here, they usually talk about all the good things they know or hear. Perreault probably had options. Kinda tired of the idea of it to be honest.  The benefit to having the AHL here for a couple of years is those players getting fully ingrained in the Winnipeg and Jets culture.
April 23, 201510 yr comment_116455 Hell of a season, and a gutsy effort on the part of a lotta guys, including the captain. Chevy will make some tweaks in the off season and this'll be an even better team in the fall. Excited to see it.
April 23, 201510 yr comment_116461 randy turner        ✔ @randyturner15 I still can't believe the Jets season peaked with Gene Principe standing in a bar next to a woman with a pink balloon penis on her head.
April 23, 201510 yr comment_116479 The loss was painful, if Anaheim somehow grabs this as a theme song even more so ... Â
April 24, 201510 yr comment_116564 Two things... Whenever I hear the name Maroon first thing I think of is Bugs Bunny saying "what a maroon" or "ultra-maroon". Second, when Getzlaf is on the ice should there be an occasional Riders suck chant? I was doing the same thing. "What a maroon" in a Bugs Bunny voice.
