I remember we had a "Blue Out" at a Bomber game once.  Sold out the stadium on the final week of the regular season in a must-win game against the Ticats.  That was 2009 and they jumped in our god damn boat.

which will be ******** when the team is wearing dark......

Flames fans wore red when the team was in white. Seemed to turn out alright.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but if we start following what ******* FLAMES *fans* are doing........then I'm all the way out.....

I don't think you are getting it, the Flame "fans" copied Winnipeg.  Winnipeg was the innovator.  The only thing that comes close for originality was the towel power of the 1982 Canucks.

The Flames did it with red first but we did it better with white. I lived in Calgary at the time and can remember their fans accusing Winnipeg fans of stealing it.

IIRC Calgary was a bit of a big, nasty team at the time, and the Jets promoted themselves as the good guys with the slogan "good guys wear white". They encouraged everyone to wear white as a response to Flames fans wearing red. Jets fans just did 1000 times better than Flames fans and it became legendary.
