  • Don't worry the Draft Guide is coming...

  • once again this blog can be summed up like this:    "I walked into Kyle Walters office and man oh man is this guy just the best. He is bar none the best GM in the league and he is ensuring the long

  • Then don't read it. Really that simple no? Some of you guys crap on pointless stuff

If no one tells them they are wrong how will they ever learn?

Pretty much my entire reason for existing, right there...
I thought it was to agree with everything 17to85 says...

Oh Christ, no...that guy's an *******...

This all looks like a smoke screen...pumping up Demski so that if some other team really wants him they'll have to trade up to draft him. If the interest is legit and they are considering him at 2, I'd be okay with that as well.

Some people actual think that the PR , media dept care what you think? Clearly some have an over inflated opinion of their own opinions. The media dept is there to service the masses not the would be elite of fan forums. Put people would rather feast on it and the print media and complain about it when the simple solution is to not read it. Clearly they are very good at getting people to read it.

I've said all along that I have a hard time believing Kyle Walters would be this transparent about their draft plans...

It is hard at times to see where Eller stops and 85 begins...

My prediction for the Bombers draft:

1. Chungh

2. Richards/Hardy

3. Ackie/Tennent

Names could change slightly, but I feel the strategy will be:

1. Best OL

2. Best WR available

3. Best defensive player available; preferably a DL.

If I had to guess today? I'd say best case scenario is they flip 11 + something (maybe a pick next year?) to move up into the 5-8 range and then go

1. Best OL (I'd take Chungh at this point)

Acquired pick Demski

15. Nic Shortill or Shaq M-L

I feel like they're going to wait until the 30s to go after some defensive guys where they could look at guys like Abdesmad (depending on how his recovery goes)

So much depth in this draft class

RB - Varga, Murray-Lawrence, Rea, Campbell, Normand

REC - Demski, Durant, Richards, Harty, Norzil, Johnson, Abankwah

OL - Mateas, Boyko, Chungh, McEwen, Allison, Groulx, Ruby, Bodanis, Lavoie

DL - Waud, Forde, Tennant, Mrabure-Ajufo, Lattanzio, Connop, Blanc, Abdesmad

LB - Shortill, Ackie, Archambeault, Konar, Johnson, Omara, Smith

DB - Janke, Adjei, Campbell

That we could end up acquiring 5 of these guys blows my mind.

I'd just stick with our three top 15 picks.

We have decent NI depth at MLB/S/CB, four okay REC and 6-7 OL.  Almost 30 NIs on roster and about 10-12 that should be upgraded.

DL, REC, maybe RB/FB is probably our biggest need right now.

2.  Waud, Demski (either of these guys step in and play this year)

11 and 15.  Ruby, Campbell, Tennant, Murray-Lawrence, Abankwah

33 and 38.  Rea, Bodanis, Abdesmad, Norzil, Lattanzio

That's actually a nice draft.

Might be able to package Morley to Edmonton or Ticats... he is a proven Centre.  Might have more value than we give him credit.  Morley and 11 for 8 and 20

I don't think we can trade a player that every news source says we'll be releasing.

Morley has pretty deep roots here in Winnipeg.  Wouldn't surprise he if he retired if we traded him.
