February 13, 201510 yr Author comment_108344 Morley is probably getting paid pretty nicely, he is a vet and a canadian and a starter for this team the last few years, My bet is he's being paid quite well so i'd suspect he either retires or is traded. If i had to guess, i'd lean towards retirement I'd estimate he's getting at least $120k per season.
February 13, 201510 yr comment_108346 Since contract numbers are never released to the public, I don't know how that could be a realistic guess. If January was 120 or so, Morley due to be Canadian would probably be more.

I heard Morley took a bit of a hometown discount because his family is settled here and he didn't want to play anywhere else. Bryant got $160k and the reports were that was "slightly" more than January, so who really knows what "slightly" more is.
February 13, 201510 yr comment_108358 Morley played well for us last year at center. I think we owe him thanks for that. He found his position after a decade in the CFL. Who knew?
February 14, 201510 yr comment_108441 in 2009 our every play just consisted of Lefors running for his life - I'll pass on Morley as tackle Don't see a ton of difference between Neufeld and Morley at rg though
February 14, 201510 yr comment_108442 Everybody says Neufeld is this great OL. Well, he has to get on the field first. Remains to be seen if he can & for how long. Greatness doesn't matter if he can't play.
February 14, 201510 yr comment_108454 Neufeld is this great OL. There…I've said it now too. Everybody, plus one.
February 14, 201510 yr comment_108455 Said there's not much difference between him and Morley - both are journeyman RG Neufeld played better at OT in sask
February 14, 201510 yr Author comment_108457 There was a thread on the Riders fan forum where they were talking about the loss of Ben Heenan and several Rider fans wanted to trade back for Neufeld.

February 15, 201510 yr comment_108608 We ran a 1990 style offense that season and used a fb most of the time. That helped keep the sack numbers down. I think Morley's best season as a Bomber was last year.
February 15, 201510 yr comment_108707 Morley gets cut, then he and his buddy January retire together. And January gets a month of the year named after him.
