December 26, 201410 yr comment_101105 I think you should just automatically lose your job when you get called out prior to a game and then still give up 3 touchdowns to the guy who called you out.

December 26, 201410 yr comment_101109 He had a bad game. Too bad it happened on the CFL's biggest stage.
December 26, 201410 yr comment_101111 He had a bad game. Too bad it happened on the CFL's biggest stage. Two epically bad games back to back.
December 27, 201410 yr comment_101115 Exceeded expectations the majority of the season - but import DBs are ten a penny.
December 27, 201410 yr comment_101116 Stewart is simply not a very good DB. hes serviceable at best and didnt excel while here. shitty how media found out before he did (apparently as per peoples comments on his facebook) but him getting released doesnt surprise me in the least..
December 27, 201410 yr Author comment_101117 I wonder if this will be the end of the line for Mr Stewart? He can come work for EJ Kuale's personal trainer business.
December 27, 201410 yr comment_101118 Exceeded expectations the majority of the season - but import DBs are ten a penny. Always somebody better, faster & cheaper.
December 27, 201410 yr comment_101121 IMO dominant import DBs are not that easy to find. The CFL would be full of Chris Randalls if they were

He was strong *within his role* while he was here.Â
December 27, 201410 yr comment_101137 He was a great corner while here - seemed to be injured last year, not the same guy...
December 27, 201410 yr comment_101138 He was the field corner, though. I don't think there was ever a time here where he wasn't the least of our starting import DBs. When I heard he was playing HB in Hamilton, I was happy for him, I thought maybe he'd taken his game up a notch but yeah he got exposed when the chips were down. Helluva athlete, though. He had fantastic wheels and I remember him making a lot of tackles from behind on special teams.
December 27, 201410 yr comment_101140 Hamilton in some cap trouble too i thought, getting rid of a veteran like stewart and replacing him with a rookie more than likely saves the cats some cash. Â Best of luck to BStew tho, always thought he was a pretty good player when he was here.Â
December 27, 201410 yr comment_101141 He was a great corner while here - seemed to be injured last year, not the same guy... Great is a pretty strong word. I'll give him a "pretty good" rating while he was here. Â He was tried in a few spots here and was only able to maintain a starting role as the field corner. I'm not sure why Hamilton thought he'd be able to play a different role there. He's a freakishly good athlete, but for some reason he can't cover anybody who has a running start.

He was strong *within his role* while he was here. Sadly, his role was "play easiest position in secondary, dont screw up.." And yea he did that and special teams very well..
December 28, 201410 yr comment_101148 http://scratchingpost.thespec.com/2014/12/stewarts-departure-not-neccessarily-a-lock.htmlSo who really knows? He did suck in the Grey Cup, though. That's indisputable.
December 28, 201410 yr comment_101171 Stewart took forever by import standards to be good enough to start here in the easiest position in the secondary and then was carried by the strength of the rest of the group, then went to Hamilton and played a harder position and got exposed badly in the playoffs. He was never as good as some people thought he was here.Â
December 28, 201410 yr comment_101172 Tiger-Cats beat reporter isnt as convinced Stewart is leaving as the human car alarm (Madani) is.
December 29, 201410 yr comment_101190 Brandon Stewart came out of a JC in the US to have an 8 year career in the CFL, far exceeding the average length of a CFL career so he must have been pretty bad. Give me a break? Why do people find it necessary to continually trash players?
