His injuries started in BC. Wally released him. We took a chance that maybe he had a couple to 3 years of good football left. Didn't work out.It might've if we  had a line that could pass block consistently. Buck became a human punching bag for CFL defenses. The other thing to consider is we didn't really know Buck's reads & progressions. He may have still been making the right reads.

If Dahlquist is not coming back, promote Pierce as QB coach then.. get Bates as RB coach.

Bates played offensive line for years with the Lions. Why wouldn't he coach the O line?

Seeing Khari in Saskie green made me wanna puke... ("haha puke, now that's a funny word" - Kenny Banya)... I wanted him here too, but at least he's not going back to Sask...

 

Bring in Milt to help design some endzone plays.

Milt was clear that his success was all about determination and conditioning. He said that he was rarely the fastest guy on the field for the first 20 or 30 plays but after that he rapidly became the fastest player.

 

Milt for all his bluster and bravado in the media was very humble. Yeah his determination and conditioning were big reasons, but he was fast too, and topping it all off was how smart he was. He's said himself a big part of why he and Khari had so much success is that they could read the defense pre-snap and both make the same adjustments. Guy was one of the smartest players without question.
