I'll say this about Buff. They might have trouble moving him back forward when guys are healthy.

Early 2nd butt Jets dominating pretty much. Pav with the huuuge glove save and seconds later the captain makes it happen and it's 2-1 Jets.

Yup....  good test for them.

Jets hanging in there with one o the best teams in the league, if not the best, top 3 for sure. 

Can't believe that Beleskey goal got waved off.

Had to be a make up call for that first penalty they called of the 2 man down.

Definitely a make up call for sure, couple missed calls today tho. Scheif got hit from behind pretty good, should have been boarding and belesky dropping his gloves and not getting a penalty for that is a head scratcher. 

Gonna say it, happy kane is hitting the net this game but he needs to start scoring. 

DUMB DUMB hit by kane, 5 and a game, funny tho cuz the guy nailed scheifele earlier in the game on the same type of hit and no call. Whatever but DUMB DUMB hit, probably suspension worthy too, 1 game. 

Awful play by Kane but the fact that Stoner can bare knuckle pummel Kane while Vatanen holds him down and only get two minutes is bullshit

Vatanen should have got a penalty for being the third man in, not sure how that is missed.

What i like about Kanes game is even if hes not scoring hes not totally useless.

 

People can ***** n moan about him all they want but you have to respect his game and his understanding that he can do other things to help the team.

Anaheim tv guys just said he must have read scouting report that says Pav goes down like that in that short side situation. KInda funny.

Good game ... they held their own against a top team.

overtime losses to Pittsburgh, Boston, and now Anaheim. Jets can definitely hold their own with the class of the league.

I think the stat is 17 out of 21 past ganes with at least a point. Shows a consistency that was lacking in years past. To play well with the injuries and depth issues is a huge positive. Certainly nice to see the team in the thick of it

Pretty much all goalies do that now. You just need an absolute perfect shot to best it.

I didn't feel Pavs played excellent though the consensus seems to be he did so I'll concede that point. One interesting stat is that his save percentage is virtually identical to last year.

Yeah, if it's done right at that angle it takes away about 98% of the net.  Once in a while a sniper is going to hit that 2%.  More often than not they shoot over the crossbar trying to find that sliver of space.  That was an amazingly accurate shot.

 

I must have been a bad luck charm yesterday - I watched about 3 minutes and saw two Duck goals.  If I had stopped walking past the TV the Jets probably win 3-2.
