Wonder if Buddy Jackson said something? Just by looking at the play, it doesn't look like unsportsmanlike conduct.

When you go out of your way to walk over a player you better make sure you don't hit him in the head with your knee while you're doing it.

  • Except it wasn't his error that made it get called back.  If it was him who had screwed up, I could *almost* see it.  One minute the hero, the next you wear the horns .. but that isn't what happened.

Brandon Banks is this generation's Gizmo Williams. Gizmo would annually have more TDs called back than the next best punt returner would score.

Let's wait until he does it for a few more years before annointing him the next Gizmo.

There was another holding penalty that happened on that play as well that wasn't called.  Anyway, just think, we beat both of these teams during the year, I'm feeling 2015 will indeed be our year to rise up.

After that display at the end of the game I wouldn't be surprised if Austin adds Banks' name to the CFL free agent list.  Unbelievable.

What did he do?   Missed it.

Laid on the sideline crying rather than getting out there with the offense to try to win the game.

Glass half full. Were supposed to be humiliated but shut down great offense in second half. Far less tinkering needed than last year.

Glass half empty: Slow first half and  FGs instead of TDs creates situation where one mistake ruins chance to win.

Best team in the league won - but just.

Austin's game management and playcalling is what cost you the game.

Highly suspect pass protection ruined much. Austin haters have to go nitpicking and still need the luxury of hindsight .

1st and goal from the 2.  He's also the GM, the guy who brought Brandon Stewart in to play boundary half, which loses them both playoff games without a ridiculous effort from Banks.

Brandon Stewart was effective up until about 2 weeks ago. CAL's rec. corps makes a whole lot of defenses look bad don't they ? HAM' rebuilt O-line started poorly , slowly stabilized but was always kind of iffy. Great defenses exposed it most of the year like tonight. One area that can be improved in order to improve red zone offense for sure

Collaros is for real.

Cats seemed so emotional this year. Frequently very high then very low within the same game. Explains some of the undisciplined play.

Austin has to get the guys more even keel.

Gold medal for courage goes out to Glen Suitor who, no doubt with arms completely exhausted, kept waving pom poms for Mitchell and Stubler without noticing the game was down to less than a TD.

Way to go Glenn.

Tweeted by the Argos. LOL

What makes you think he was supposed to be on the field for the next play? He'd just run about 100 yards. I can't see Austin having him out there on the next play.

I didn't see team as over emotional at all. Defense was on roller skates in first half - recovered and played well no stupid penalties
