I see he is with BC now. Didn't we have him around and release him to pursue an opportunity with the Vikings? I would have been interested in seeing what he could do with us.

we did, he was on our PR last season for not long at all, don't think we released him, think he decided that Winnipeg wasn't for him. Honestly, my guess is if he showed up here this year instead of BC, he probably would have stuck around. Night and Day situation compared to last season. Honestly, if i'm a player and i came up here last season, i'm not sure if i would have lasted that long either. Dunno if we released him or if he decided that he didn't want to be here. There was a trend last season with a few players coming up for a day or 2 and then leaving unexpectedly with no real announcement. Had to have been the gong show environment that last season was.

Another possibility is that we didn't want him.

Was here a week or two, he had impressed in Vikings training camp they had a couple backs get dinged up so he asked for his release so he could sign with Minnesota.
