I'm hoping Matthews still have a bad taste in his mouth playing for last place team. Sometimes it's not all about the money. I'm not actually worried about Ottawa. I'm worried if Cgy, Edm and BC join the bidding.

Having him back in the fold for the BC game would be great, hell if he can get into Winnipeg by noon Sunday I'd take him fresh off a plane over Romby. Assuming he re-signs with us of course.

If we elect to keep ham n eggers like Kelly and Romby over Matthews we should probably just bring back Tim Burke. Luckily, Walters likes Matthews and I don't anticipate much of a problem bringing him back unless Ottawa throws crazy money at him.
