No. It's not it. They don't even have any apparel yet. I just confirmed this.

Those are this years sideline apparel. They have those for sale in the store already. I looked at ours again tonight and they have just a tiny bit of gold on them. They are predominantly dark blue and white.

That isn't the pattern on our new ones.  The only Gold on our new ones is on the Reebok label that's it!

Correct. We might be calling them the Winnipeg Argonauts as the predominant colours are blue and white. No gold on helmet or pants that I am aware of.

Perhaps it's somewhat hopeless to dream but THESE are the Bomber unis IMO ... simple, classic, like the Leafs, Canadians, Rangers, Cowboys, Giants etc. What's so difficult about bringing these back?  Sigh ...

Signature Jersey Launch

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers will launch their new "Signature" third jersey on Tuesday, August 19th, part of the CFL-wide Signature Jersey initiative. The Bombers will debut the Signature uniforms on the field when they host the Montreal Alouettes on Friday, August 22nd at 7:30pm.

On August 19th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, fans are invited to the Bomber Store to purchase the new jersey and collect autographs from RB Nic Grigsby and DB Chris Randle.

Fans who bring a donation of a non-perishable food item to the Purolator Tackle Hunger program in support of Winnipeg Harvest will receive a $30-off coupon, which can be applied to the purchase of the new jersey.

Your Tackle Hunger food donation can be made at the Bomber Store at any time before the August 22nd game or at the August 22nd game itself; there will be donation points at the gates on the night of the game, or in the Tailgate at the Plaza area at Gate 2 where you can collect your coupon.

Both women's and men's jerseys will be available for purchase. Signature sideline gear including T-shirts, golf shirts, hoodies, touques and caps will also be available in the Bomber Store and online.

Already pre-ordered mine.  Supposed to be customized and ready for the 22nd game.  Now I just have to figure out if I'll wear it or leave it on the hanger.

Watching all the promo around the signature jerseys... lots of this talk reminds me of the spin when the CFL expanded into the states.  That was a young, fresh, bold move to attract new, emerging, young, American markets and make the league exciting, fresh (again!), relevant, stronger, blah blah blah blah...

Just bring back the royal  blues...
