Seems like every game we get laid out by a play made against us for a TD off a fumble, INT or some other gaffe but unlike last season, we bounce up and throw our own haymaker back.. Love this new resiliency..

Last season that adversity would have buried us...

And it's usually another part of the team that rallies back.

 

Offence coughs up the ball? D gets 7 back with a fumble return or a pick 6. 

 

Defense gives up a back breaking TD? Kick return gets it right back.

 

ST turns the ball over on a muffed kick? D stands tall and O marches the ball on the next drive.

I'm particularly impressed with the D holding teams to field goals when turnovers occur in the red zone.  They seem to save their best stuff for critical situations.

Yea I don't see any finger pointing, just helmets being picked up and the other units stepping up to help their brothers.. Loving this mentality and intestinal fortitude..

The bend but don't break is working so far, let's hope it continues. 

I love how they have way more fight in them.   Let's hope the boys can keep up this furious pace all season long.

if this was last year's team... even if by some fluke game 1 still happened the way it did... we definitely woulda lost game 2 and 3... I, too, like where this is going

Yes we have some good new players in place, but quality coaching can NOT be underestimated ... 

Leadership has a way of filtering down from the HC, through the QB....and radiating outwards through the rest of the roster.

 

We, of course....know the inverse, quite well.....

I said it all last year and lots of people didn't want to listen but if you get better coaches who can bring the right attitude to a team you are way further ahead. That was Joe Macks single biggest failing as a GM, he hired 2 duds at head coach.
